So, the room in the apartments that has the "Collection" pictures is pitch black, and the bathtubs in the apartment also are as well. Is there a workaround for this?

I'm actually enjoying this game, Windowed at smallest setting and no sound, Come at me monsters.

My computer lags so bad around the beginning I can't even play. This is bullshit.

I hate the screamers and I always think they're cheap scares, but I always laugh at them afterwards. I would just be wandering the hallways then just think about it and be like "Man, how did that scare me?" [sp]Still the part where you come out of the room with all the pictures of dead kids then you see all the dead kids around you after the lights go out scared me.[/sp]

I'm constantly lost and clueless what to do. I need to reach the 4th floor of some stupid building, I checked everything and I can't get there, door won't budge. Not a fan of this mod, but then again, for some reason I just can't get into any HL2/HL mod.

ok so, havent played fully through the coop but so far its fucking terrible... random shit, that retarded simon mode bullshit and no/very little ammo. some levels you die and start with full gear, other levels you die and start with a stick and a glock. what the fuck... theres prolly some story tie-in with the single player, but the simon mode(what its called with dev 1) makes no sense... maybe its easier with 4 instead of 2, but either way not having much fun

I convinced Robbaz to play this, sadly I can't play it till saturday :(

They shouldn't have even put the coop in the mod if they knew it was this bad.

Yeah I didn't realize how saving worked and clicked some button by accident in the menu and had to restart and it still scared me in the intro, I even turned down my volume this time and it still made me jump a bit. Also could someone who's hosted a game tell me what to do? I want to play with some friends online but when I invite them the server is 'not responding' and it doesn't show up in the servers browser, ports are forwarded and it's sv_lan 0.

If you're bothered by the lack of a quick save function here's a fix for that. First open up console with ~ and type in bind f6 "save quick" and bind f9 "load quick" you can replace f6 and f9 with whatever keys you want.

Fixed it right up. Now, however, I'm stuck in the game because I keep getting caught by this jackass with a chainsaw because I run out of sprint too quickly. The first time I went through the hallway he spawns in, he killed me in exactly 1.2 seconds. Quite a scare, but not very fair. (Yes the rhyme is intentional.)

I'm playing the game by myself on a big tv up close in the dark, full sound. I'm having no major problems whatsoever, and this mod is probably THE BEST mod I have ever played, and I have played a LOT of mods. I do not scare easy, but I did jump at a few parts, not finished yet but I'm lovin every minute of it. A few parts were a bit confusing, but that's part of the fun. I felt like I was playing silent hill 1 and 2 + resident evil 2 in first person, these modders produced something really great here :) I do not understand everyone's problem with saving, the only trouble I had with difficulty was when I started the game on hard at first, and was raped by hammers. When I played it in normal it felt perfectly balanced, cant wait to do a nightmare play through after I beat the game Sorry for all of you having bugs, hope any problems you have get worked out so you can also enjoy this to the fullest

Im stuck on the start after [sp] you get fucking jumped by that fucking face in the dark while you have a camera [/sp], Cant figure out the Padlock or the computer password. Also, im hosting a Coop server, anyone want to join up?

Your normal walk is pretty fast in comparison with out of stamina walking. One will be the username. The other the password. Do that and you get the padlock combo.[/sp]

So I was playing co-op with my friends and then the game crashed on all of us. We got pretty damn far but when he tries to host it again we have to start from the very VERY beginning. Is there a way to load the maps manually so we can start where we left off?
