Does anyone know where the other fuse for the subway is? It says [sp] One is in Saxon Avenue. I have that one but have no clue where the other one is.[/sp]
Trying to create a lan game using Hamachi but this thing won't have it at all. I am baffled by this. Nope, got it. Just had to forward host ports, launch lan game, sv_lan 0 in console, and instant connection.
Finally, found a syringe! [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/451722154124256325/0B1D24F2F95C46DBC50D613ECA068D5EA248F65D/[/img_thumb]
Chapter 4 so far is the shittiest chapter. So much backtracking. I have no clue where the fuck to go for this second fuse..people are saying [sp]go back to the apartments[/sp] but I have no clue where it is anymore.

The door you need the key for is near the pink flesh tentacle tree thing/near the first map of the city. There are bloody footsteps leading to it. And can someone host a Facepunch coop server? Preferably passworded.

Also, I completed the SP! :0

There's a broken window that you can crawl through to get to the other side.
Do you recall the bus with the M16? There's a broken window that you can crawl through to get to the other side.
Ya I found that. Just had difficulty finding apartment again.
What ports does it use? I'd like to play co-op, and it looks like I need to forward my ports.
Fuck the college. Its dark and I've got no health whatsoever.

I've been working on compiling a list on how to get every ending and acquire every unlockable. Some of the information here is a little dodgy as it's mostly based on the hints given by the mod itself, but I've appended some of my own clarifying statements in parentheses. Massive spoilers, don't click unless you really want to know: [sp]How to Get Each Ending Ending 1 - Run from Carcass boss, don't give gun to Doctor Ending 2 - Run from Carcass boss, give gun to Doctor Ending 3 - Kill Carcass boss, don't give gun to Doctor Ending 4 - Kill Carcass boss, give gun to Doctor Ending 5 - Unknown right now, involves the Hidden Package Ending 6 - Beat doctor mode Ending 7 - Beat co-op How to Get Ranks Grades: F - 2 or less points E - Between 2 and 7 points D - Between 7 and 14 points C - Between 14 and 21 points B - Between 21 and 29 points A - Between 29 and 35 points S - 35 points Accuracy: Between 30% and 40% - 1 point Between 40% and 50% - 2 points Between 50% and 60% - 3 points Between 60% and 70% - 4 points Between 70% and 80% - 5 points Between 80% and 90% - 6 points Greater than 90% - 7 points Time (hours): Between 6 and 7 - 1 point Between 5 and 6 - 2 points Between 4 and 5 - 3 points Between 3 and 4 - 4 points Between 2.5 and 3 - 5 points Less than 2.5 - 7 points Difficulties: Easy - 2 points Medium - 4 points Hard - 6 points Nightmare - 7 points Saves: Greater than 70 - 1 point Between 60 and 70 - 2 points Between 40 and 60 - 3 points Between 25 and 40 - 4 points Between 10 and 25 - 5 points Between 5 and 10 - 6 points Less than 5 - 7 points Syringes: More than 45 used - 1 point Between 40 and 45 - 2 points Between 30 and 40 - 3 points Between 20 and 30 - 4 points Between 10 and 20 - 5 points Between 3 and 10 - 6 points Less than 3 - 7 points How to Get Clothes David Leatherhoff Suit - See Ending 5 (secret ending) ModDB Hoodie - Inside the Apartment in Waspet Gardens (where you meet Sophie) Hello Kitty Suit - Use the dead cat 5 times (in vent) Afraid of Monsters Suit - Inside the Harbor College Camo Hoodie - See Ending 2 (run from Carcass boss, give gun to Doctor) Half-Life Creations Hoodie - Inside the main apartments Black Metal Suit - See Ending 7 (Beat co-op) Team Psykskallar Hoodie - See Ending 3 (kill Carcass boss, don't give gun to Doctor) Awesome Outfit - See Endings 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 Sick Simon Suit - See Ending 4 (kill Carcass boss, give gun to Doctor) Twitcher Outfit - Kill a Twitcher with an Axe Custom Hoodie - Unlock all the clothes How to Get Items Doctor's Story - See Ending 4 (kill Carcass boss, give gun to Doctor) Night vision goggles - Beat the doctor mode How to Get Secret Weapons Secret Weapon - Beat any ending in nightmare mode Secret Weapon (FAMAS G2 with infinite ammo) - Unlock the room in heaven when delivered the package Secret Weapon (Camera, freezes enemies) - Beat any ending under 2.5 hours Secret Weapon - Get an S rank (One of the secret weapons is a book that shoots lasers, I believe the other is an Axe)[/sp]
-Nevermind, a reinstall of the game fixed the problem-
Any tips on The Carcass?
Make sure you have ammo and lots of it. Don't pay attention to those annoying skull things that fly at you. If you don't have above 60-70% health I wouldn't even attempt the fight. If you don't, just escape because he doesn't reward you at all. But if you want to be a badass and fight him like I did first use your shotgun on him as close as possible. Then turn around and run behind this chest high roof-part. Crouch for a bit and he SHOULD stop shooting at you then stand up shoot as much at him as possible and you should hopefully kill him. I used every single bullet I had to kill him.
What's doctor mode
Took me 5 shotgun shells and 4 glock mags :v:
I only had 5 shotgun shells, 2 glock mags, and like 7 rifle rounds. And I landed every shot (I think) and it still wasted every single bullet. (Playing on medium difficulty)
What's doctor mode
[sp]I believe you play as the crazy Doctor. I'm not sure if it's a special level or a different protagonist for the game, but judging from one of the endings I saw I believe it's the former.[/sp]
What's doctor mode
it's a nintendo-hard, one-life, almost-no-ammo no-heals short campaign
My game refuses to save, does anybody know how to fix this?
Can someone film doctor mode? It sounds awesome.
[sp]Secret Weapon (Camera, freezes enemies) - Beat any ending under 2.5 hours[/sp]
I don't think so, I beat it in over 5 hours but still got it.
What's doctor mode
It's mostly comparable to Resident Evil 3's Mercenaries minigame. Get to some place with highly limited resources (not sure if there's a time limit as well) And [sp]how/where do you deliver the weird package?[/sp]
I can't wait until the videos that show all of the uncrackables and endings that i will never get to see because of how shit i am.
Where the hell do I [sp] find the key for the elevator in the apartments? [/sp]
Can anyone explain the whole plot of the mod?
[sp]Simon suffers from an accident that damages him both physically and emotionally, Doctor in charge of him suggests that he writes a book to relieve the trauma, it only makes it worse and what you play in the game is the book. You play as the book, the memories of Simon. This is why, in the endings, your memory/trauma kills you by making you suicide (which is, by the way, seriously disturbing), or you kill your memories.[/sp] As for why exactly there are monsters running around, I don't know. But [sp]the coop mode already implies that there's something surnatural going on because they go backwards through Simon's book in order to prevent the accident that left him in a wheelchair.[/sp]
Help, how do I reach the 4th floor in that sodding building. I've been everywhere and I can't find jack shit, I'm stuck here for 2 hours now.

One reason why this mod is awesome.
Name me a horror game that doesn't have jump scares. (spoiler, Amnesia does) Backtrack? none of it is backtracking if its different. When you get the code for the padlock and go back to the padlocked door, its different, your being followed, lights are off. Its the little details. Also you can save your progress, look up a couple posts or a page I dont remember but you can re-enable quick save / quick load. Also the mod being gold source has nothing to do with the doors being textures.
Yes, Amnesia does have jump scares but there aren't that many. The jump scares that amnesia has are at least classy and integrate into the story (such as the avalanches.) Within the very first scene of this game there is literally a giant face the pops out and screams, you can't get anymore typical with that. I didn't notice anything different while going back to the padlock. I do remember hearing a weird noise once I access the computer. Thanks for letting me know about quicksaving, if I ever do play this again I'll check it out. I assumed all the doors being flat was because of gold source, my apologies. I still find it annoying because when your playing on sourcemod, if a door is a texture that means you can't open it. My mind is still in that mode to look for doors that are actually, you know, doors. So I guess that part is my fault.
So you're a horror game snob, are comparing it to other games as a measure of quality- which are on different engines, you guessed on a padlock instead of actually playing the mod, want a linear game where you just walk from place to place, and can't tell a door from a wall, and has to save constantly.
You're really generalizing my criticism of the game. The engine doesn't matter, I'm not complaining about graphics, just that the doors are flat. As I said above, I'm used to source mod's use of doors. I didn't guess on the padlock, I found the combination before even finding where the padlock was. Like I said, I had to backtrack and check every single door on the way. I don't have a problem with non-linear games, I've played them before. I have a problem with going back two maps, to an area which I thought was insignificant. Yes, I do appreciate being able to save whenever I want. I can't always sit down and play for a long time, searching for the savepoint.
is it just me or is co-op really glitchy and bad i could rarely tell my bros apart because the only difference is basically skin color, and at one point i had this glitch where all my controls are reversed, but i couldn't rejoin to fix it also is there any strategy for the shotgun dad enemy, ours was "run up and start smacking him with tonfas while circle-strafing like motherfuckers"
