You can't melee him, he'll blow your face off in a scripted death if you get too close. At least that's what happened to me.

I already know this i'm just saying I wish they would fix the fact when you do shoot and don't miss it still counts as a miss on your accuracy. Atleast on the [sp]Doctor[/sp] I mean.

Just rush through the beginning again, only takes 2 mins max (skipping the intro).

[sp]You have to go to the first floor after getting the Glock and take the elevator there, I think. After that it should be fairly clear.
If not, try the second and third floors.[/sp]

oh god it's gone all silent hill on me
-snip because the game was bugged and i solved it-
so i reinstalled because my copy of the game crashed a hell of a lot more after the patch and i lost all of my mother fucking unlockables.
is there anyway to go edit a text file or something and give me them back?

When you're going through that hallway near the beginning of the game with that one blue door, go in it. Where Simon sees something at the end of the hallway and says "what was that?"
[sp]Take the package and deliver it to the yellow mailbox on Harbor street, where the college is. Then just play through the game until you get to Simon's home[/sp]

That feeling when you [sp]kill the doctor and after exiting the mental hospital it's fucking DAYTIME[/sp]. It sure is a relief, although I din't find the game scary after that, and I wish it was longer.
so is that a no to being able to give yourself unlockables?

Seriously, [sp]I have never been happier to see the sun. It was brilliant, going through that small town, no enemies in sight, ammunition and health everywhere you look, no dark corners for anything to writhe and contort out of.
Of course, enemies show up eventually, but by that point you're like a lucid dreamer stuck in a nightmare - unafraid, living on a power high.[/sp]
