[sp]In some of them he's a loathsome motherfucker though. Not that he isn't still sympathetic, but he really is a psychopathic dick sometimes.
Like, in some of them, he basically kills Sophie for no given reason and acts like it's all her fault. I wasn't even sure how she related to the story outside of the book.[/sp]
Yeah, the story feels convoluted at times.
[sp]It seems like there is no real purpose to 70% of the "really fucked up and scary"-scenes and it often feels like Simon is either totally overreacting or totally uninvested. The train sequence is oddly comedic to me with Simon going "I'm sitting in a train again like an idiot, I'll know better the next time I use public transportation. So a car ran me over, I woke up in some other place and now monsters try to kill me, what is actually happe- oh, there's a noise, guess I'll have to momentarily postpone my monologue!"[/sp]
Anybody have a good co-op server? I want to try it out now that I've finished the game.
Yesterday I managed to play a game wtih some people when they were near the end. When we were entering the subway, I went down the escalator like normal people would do, just standing there waiting for it to get me down. They started laughing and we all rode the next escalator going up like that, with someone going all "America fuck yeah!" through the microphone. Good times, good times. (if someone is from here hi :D)
I can't even play the coop, when there's a nightmare sequence the screen goes grey and never comes back.
Is anyone else raging at trying to escape the crashed train?

I replayed it like ten times because Simon refused to climb over some obstacles
I even did it right first try, but I had to go around to the other side of the bridge and it fell off as soon as I stepped on it
It took me more than twenty tries, but when you begin to know the "path", it all goes "well"... It reminds me some real old school platform games.
But don't worry, this is the last "difficult" part... the rest of the mod should be more obvious. (Besides the final boss...).
Anyone got a server to play this on? I was really looking forward to co-op.

Seriously though, I saw the places of the game in real life and goddamn it's accurate.
i think the voice acting could have been improved a bit.
I'm still waiting for someone to get S Rank so I know how to get it. Cause I haven't been able to get it myself.
How can I check what difficulty i'm on? I'm pretty damn sure I started on Difficult and apparently you're not supposed to be able to hold 9 glock mags. I'm at chapter 5 now and this is bugging the hell outta me.
Damn, that trailer has much better voice acting than the game. That's what bugged me a bit, sometimes it was too silent or it felt without heart. Also the writing of Simon's monologues during the game here and there wasn't very good.

Also Gonna be a pain in the ass to find the other secret book pages cause I'm herp derp and can't seem to figure out where they are.

I read the hints but still don't know where they are.
I did 1 hour and 48min on easy Cause I didn't spend forever on [sp]Sawer[/sp] and the [sp]Doctor[/sp]. Those are the time wasters there... Fuck. First boss is a pain on Nightmare when you don't wanna use gun...Hope the [sp]Hidden ending axe[/sp] is useful against him.
