I never found it

It's in that mini-apartment thing you go into after [sp]you go through the bus window[/sp], its on the very bottom floor just sitting there.
Can someone tell me what the mapname is for the second map, after the dream when you wake up at the beginning, i forgot to save at the pc screen and i dont even wanna replay it even tho i know whats coming at the beginning.
Holy shit please don't tell me that after we get the fuse from the college we have to go back to the alleyway and[sp]re-open the gate that stops the chainsaw maniac from slicing Simon in half[/sp]

Don't worry, he's not there.

reminds me of a headcrab :O
it reminds me of a chicken
it reminds me of carcass
They really needed to put more save points in the apartments. I'm playing on Difficult and enemies are a bitch; I killed 6 dudes and I die, I have to kill them all over again. It doesn't help that the whole building is a maze.
That's fucking it. I'm giving up my dignity here folks. i can't get past the fucking [sp]chainsaw guy in the forest[/sp] I have no health whatsoever, i can't see shit, he runs at like 2000 mph, and it's impossible [sp]to get the doorknob in place before i get chainsawed to death by this fucker.[/sp] There has got to be some cheat or way or trick or SOMETHING to get past this asshole. Help?
I'm kinda disappointed that the [sp]child killer from the apartments is never revealed[/sp]

The way I got through that part: Didn't even sprint, just sidestepped and dodged him until he glitched and stood still for a few moments [sp]which gave me enough time to place the knob.[/sp]
That game kinda reminds me of Stalker, in a way. Perhaps it's the graphics, I don't know.

Just [sp]go through the left and stick to the wall and follow it all the way to end until you see the house, the chainsaw guy shouldn't even spawn[/sp]

[sp]He literally spawns when you pick up the door knob.[/sp]

I saw a video on the official forums, part of a walkthrough by Simon's voiceactor. [sp]You CAN pick up the Doorknob and then back away, somehow, to avoid triggering Sawrunner coming after you. Even then, his AI may bug out on one of the trees or such, but in any case, you're otherwise stuck with trial-and-error.[/sp]

Actually, I'm pretty certain [sp]he's around even before you pick up the doorknob. So, that whole time you were exploring?[/sp]
[sp]He was hunting you.[/sp]

in the lets play i watched you hear the sounds, but the music doesnt change and he doesnt chase you until you grab the doorknob, from what i could tell...

[sp]It worked for me, I just got the doorknob and backed away to the area entrance[/sp]
I think that CoF's inventory system would have made a lot of sense if it had the RE4 inventory system or something like that. I mean, he had sling bag that could have put in a lot of stuff instead of just 3 items.

That's making things more complicated than they need to be though.
I have to say, I'm looking more closely at the maps, and the mapper is either mediocre or VERY lazy, windows folded around corners, buildings were entirely rectangles, overlapping/repeating textures...
That's making things more complicated than they need to be though.
I know but it would seem more logical if it were to follow the RE4 system but nonetheless, the one they had is still good though kinda annoying at times

Well the game doesn't make sense to begin with. I'm holding an m16, a phone and a police baton in my pockets and in my bag I have a shotgun, a handgun a knife. An m16 in my pocket. Makes a lot of sense.

Keep in mind that this was made in goldsrc. Trying to program a complex grid inventory like that would most likely be a royal pain in the dick.
Anyone have a video walkthrough on how to find all the [sp]secret pages yet?[/sp] I'm missing 2 and 3 and can't find them where the hints tell me to look.
Am I the only one not getting scared at most of the parts?
I only scared at that head and vent scares...

How the fuck do you even get that scared?
I mean, I get that people react differently to things, but how do you even get so scared you scream just from a jump-scare?
