why? a 480 consumes 80000000w and there is a bad relation price/efficiency
Fucking shit. I do not want to believe these benchmarks.

Fuuuuuuuuu. All the 1GB's are sold out on Newegg.
Looks pretty nice.
Because £125 is affordable
Because £125 is affordable
Yeah, it is...Unless you have NO JOB AT ALL.
Because £125 is affordable
Errr.... yes, that is very affordable, considering that a 480 costs £400 plus and the 460 performs well enough to run nearly anything you could throw at it.
Why don't they display the 5870 on the chart? That's a little suspicious.
Why don't they display the 5870 on the chart? That's a little suspicious.
They're comparing same tier video cards
Notice how they don't throw in the 480
Is it better than the Nvidia 220?
Obviously.
Much better specs.
How much better is this than the 9800 gtx?
Like...on that chart it's like 2.5 times better than the gtx+...but I just have the regular gtx.
Looks like Nvidia's next 8800GT. I'm sold already.
Meh, 5770 in Crossfire is enough for me... at least for now.
I spent £125 on my gts250 about six months ago :saddowns:
[editline]12:46AM[/editline]
Forget sliced bread, this is the shit!
We're on DirectX 11 now? I feel old, I remember when DirectX 9 was still advanced...
9800gtx is amazing,, i just dual them, its ALL you need.
i love my overclocked 8800gt
:respek:
plus anything larger wouldn't fit in my tiny case.
LOL thats the dumbest thing ever
"Up to 4x faster than equivalent ATI cards"
so its equivalent AND faster? fuckin magnets
i'm fine with my ATI 5850
btw, im no ATI "fanboy", the 5850 is my first ATI card

I have to agree. I've heard great things about the 460, but calling it "up to 4x faster" is just ridiculous. Stop comparing it to a 5450HD and the results might change, dammit.
If they can repeat the 8800GT success that's quite something.
I'll stick with ATI until Nvidia lrns2AA though. :/

Holy shit it out-performs the 5830
Sold
Holy shit it out-performs the 5830

It's only in one game. It may perform differently in others.
I just got an overclocked GTX 260 a few months ago, and BFG Tech lets me upgrade and spend only the difference in price, which is about $10 - $20.
If BFG ever starts manufacturing them, would it be worth the few bucks?
Tessellation is incredible ----> DX11 is pretty
I had high hopes for this card. Im not dissappointed.
Next 8800GT? Sold.
If it's true though =.=

So did I, didn't know you could upgrade like that.

By equivalent I'm sure it means equal in price.

Wait so...you could just sit and buy the most expensive card (say 800 dollars) and get any new cards that come out (without having to pay much/anything)

I'm pretty sure that's what they said.
All you have to do is register your BFG card within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase, and a lifetime warranty and the cheap upgrades are yours.
That's pretty amazing, seems like a good future proofing thing
I want one
