"Unranked games will put you against players of equal skill" Puts me against silver players makes me feel like a smurfing asshole.
starts you out with a blank mmr, you'll climb pretty quickly
Seeing the way life played shows that the zerg game's really had to step up a large notch to be good i like that but I also don't because it'll take me longer to get good with them in a meaningful way I've tried a couple of games today using speedlings to do some decent damage to the enemy but life must have been doing some crazy micro with them to do that right because I'm just not sure. I've won a lot of encounters and doing a 3 hatch by 9 minutes against protoss is pretty strong but then I start to fall apart being unable to choose what units are best to build exactly right and when and occasionally supply capping myself for a moment or two. I know you don't get good at this game by just playing and grinding out the basics, you have to try and review what you've done in order to fix your play but sometimes I'm just not exactly sure what to think I should have done for sure.
I like they added in stats for maps and such, now I can see that I had the highest winrates on the worst maps ever released. Jungle Basin 80% win rate and Steppes of War I had a 60% win rate :v:
Any youtubers you guys could recommend that did a review on this expansion? I want to watch a couple more reviews before dropping $40 on HotS.

Searching through YouTube will get you the more popular ones. So obviously people like Day9, Husky, PsyStarcraft to name a few. They may be somewhat biased as their careers depend on this game, but they're opinions appear accurate. Definitely not afraid to laugh at Blizzard at times. People will probably hate me for mentioning him but TotalBiscuit is another one if you want a more detailed and in depth look at what the campaign holds for you.

So me and brofessional decided to rock the 2v2 ranked ladder. Facerolled (almost) all of our opponents. I was hesitant to get into the multiplayer aspect of the game, but I'm finding myself really enjoying all the new changes and units. Figuring out new strategies and such is surprisingly more fun than I thought it'd be. A good chance I'll get back into this game like I used to be, but I'll have to make sure I don't take it as seriously, otherwise I'll end up like Zombo and hating everything and everyone. [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] Also, my battlenet name is still CherryCoke.324 on the US region. Just as an fyi :v:

Luckily I found out a new strategy in HoTS where you make marines, marauders and medivacs and attack move.
And vikings.
2zealot msc early aggression too stronk in pvz (literally forces a billion lings) 2stalker msc early aggression too stronk in pvt, i caught the terran without a bunker at his natural expansion and wrecked his shit, could've gotten a gg out of him if i microed better and then oracles jesus christ it's such a good time to be a protoss player [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] pvz is e z because you deny their mutas with phoenixes, then make a bunch of colossi as they're building a roach/hydra army insta-gg
Just played StarNaN on ladder! He owned me :(. Tried to set up a flank at my third, but he checked for my third and killed half my army lol X_X
lol :P X_X

Just played against Rhythm (Bubbles) on 2v2 random ladder. Got shit on.
I am really starting to love this game again, picking it up quicker than I thought I would, considering I have no build orders anymore and just focus on macroing as well as I can. (Not played since September) Hopefully I can get back into Diamond then finally after years make it to Masters :v: Oh and speed boost medivacs are scary as fuck. [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] I know this has been mentioned before but it is hilarious. i have the best win loss ratio
When hasn't it been a good time to be a protoss player.
when playing against other protoss players what's the deal with pvp? it's so volatile
All mirrors are shit except TvT.
All mirrors are shit except TvT.
I enjoy ZvZ actually, it's kind of a toss up but it can end up really close and really intense and sometimes that's a lot of fun well it's fun when you win [editline]19th March 2013[/editline] Protoss is my biggest problem as zerg so far. I haven't met any skytoss players so I haven't had to deal with that crap yet, but if I end up facing a walled in toss who's managed to get his natural even if i've harrassed(i admit i have to work on my zergling micro a lot) then I end up getting massively out produced and out powered even if I've got 3 to 4 expos going. Any advice?
So no secret mission this time?
Is there anything different when you go to [sp]The primal Zerg world then Char, rather than Char to the primal Zerg world?[/sp]
Is there anything different when you go to [sp]The primal Zerg world then Char, rather than Char to the primal Zerg world?[/sp]
[sp]No, it's simply the order you get the units in. You end up going to both either way.[/sp]

No Zerg army can beat it once it gets to critical mass.
If only Zerg had air banelings.
If only Zerg had air banelings.
drop banes :P
drop banes :P
sigh
If only Zerg had air banelings.
Bring back scourges
So what happened to TLO's hair? Is he going hobo again? Looks like the beard is growing. All he needs is some ripped jeans and fingerless gloves
All mirrors are shit except TvT.
ZvZ can be really fun to watch.
Bring back scourges
I think scourges would solve all of the problems zerg has with skytoss.
Guys, how viable would it be to get like, a metric fuckload of banelings and stuff them into overlords to do a bombing run on the enemy base? I'm not talking about mineral line harassment, i'm talking about some serious WW2 era bombardment on their entire base or something, how would that go? Because that's the first thing i'm doing once i get home this weekend.
