Not gonna happen. Foreigner teams are funded by streaming because there isn't a single person that can play on the same level as koreans.
Well the thing is that with the introduction of WCS regional tournaments, we'll see the rise of foreigners within their own regions as opposed to them competing worldwide and (most importantly) against Koreans. Of course, they'll ultimately have to face Koreans in the finals, but it will at least give them exposure beyond what they're used to.
Also a cool thing is the free 720p streams - I'm a huge fan of that. Seems like they're taking esports in the right direction.
It will be like the last one where all these no-name foreigners get wrecked in the world event and a handful of koreans win everything.

Foreigners have loads more exposure, if anything this is a good chance for the unknown Koreans with a TON of skill to get noticed. Koreans need funding to travel the globe to get decent exposure remember.
Pretty sure any korean b-teamer can roflstomp 90% of foreigners.
I really want to see Blizz bring SC: Ghost back someday.

Highly doubtful at this point. The story has been taken care of, there isn't anything that Ghost can fill in. Unless of course they take on their books a little more closely and base an FPS on one of those which might be cool.
Well it doesn't have to be the same story anyway, they could just keep the name because it would be the same type of gameplay but maybe centered around a different character.
I think it'd be cool to be doing missions as Kerrigan while she was still in the Sons of Korhal

Sure the whole spectre deal was dealt with in the books? Considering most of SC ghost was meant to centre around that.
I never read the books but I heard blizzard pretty much retconned all the books with SC2.

As far as I can see msot of the book stuff is still legit. Since most of the books dealt with border stuff.

yeah i know, im still proud though seeing as i just got into masters not long ago, and i have a total of 1200 games played since i started, had no previous rts experience either :3
Man, watching 2011 starcraft is weird. "Oh man he's overcommitting those hellions. WAIT JK QUEENS HAVE NO RANGE LOL"
With the current map design you could revert all those balance changes and hellions would still be pretty terrible.
Remember Metalopolis? The natural was completely exposed to hellions, I won so many games with blue flame just backstabbing with a handful behind their natural or dropping them in the absolutely massive main base.

Testing out the new protoss units on unranked, get matched against a zerg who tries a ling runby. I maek gateway units and defense it, then counterattack his natural with a mothership core in support.

Really? It's been long since I've last played before yesterday but I got BM'ed way more than before. Given, "before" was a year or so ago.

My friend and I have done Funday monday the last two nights and one game called me a hacker because I had 20+ cannons in his base. He didn't understand how it was possible for me to afford all that on one base.
The challenge was to have one player cheese before expanding while the other player expands twice before making attacking units. So at the start since my friend had a boosted income compared to mine he money dumped onto me. Afterwards I was able to steal my cheesed players base and use it as my expansion and transition into my own attacking units. Was wonderful getting called a hacker.

Honestly it's my first Funday Monday and I very much had fun with it. However I completely suck at Starcraft right now as I haven't played any competitive games since it's release and even though I watch people like Day9 and Husky, I just don't have that muscle memory down. So playing these games I was able to accomplish two things at once. First, training. Each match I learned new things that were critical in each game. Even though I still have many things to improve on such as multitasking between macro and micro. And second, succeeding in an unusual style of play for the sake of challenging myself even further.
Funday Mondays are super fun and I recommend everyone try it at least once. Even if you suck like me, it's great for getting you out of your comfort zone and into new possibilities.

No it isn't because you queue against people in ranked ladder as well while playing unranked, also cheese can be really fun because it's often micro intensive.
meh i've lost confidence in my ability to play starcraft
was top of my league, steadily falling into top 25
