Does anyone have the pack with the truck cab and a lot of wheels?
Just added to the bottom of my post on the reddit mod share thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1c6byw/ok_new_plan_everyone_who_has_mechjeb_any_other/c9ecyxn
Thanks mate
is there anywhere i can get the firespitter pack besides official ksp sites? i wanted to create some prop-planes but as soon as i got that desire the ksp websites go down :(

Does KSP let you use the mouse for steering or are there any mods for it? Maybe the joystick controls can be adapted to pick up mouse input? Really want to fly my aircraft by mouse :v:
Guys, rip in peace kerbal.net RIP IN PEACE HARDCORE U DID 11/3 compared to spaceport.
I'm not really sure if I shall make this ship longer. And yes, it's all full.

I had to abandon my last space station because it was basically impossible to dock because of how slow the game became.
How's your framerate/timestep?
It dropped down to 20, which is weird, because my last ship was slightly shorter and it was running perfectly smooth.
ram it into the sun
ram it into the sun
ram another spaceship into it
ram another spaceship into it
Set both on an intercept course in opposite directions at the sun
It'd be nice if you could turn off the "explode and disappear" thing and see how ships collide against eachother
Well, I've sent this one to jool
I've decided for my next project I'm going to produce an orbital battleship to rival anything anyone else has made. My current design is going to use a frame of six way connectors and fuel tanks to create a large, fuel-infused, but comparatively low-weight hull. However, I don't know if it will be very strong without the ability to attach multiple parts to a single item. Is there a way to cement multiple parts together, or can you only stick parts to one item at a time; forcing me to use struts as a stability method.

So if you want six segments attached to a single item, the shared part will have to be placed first.

I think it would be neat if you collided with an object in space at like 10-20 m/s, It wouldn't explode but just crumple really bad. Similar to GTA 4 when you crash a car, But if it dents your Command Module and its manned the oxygen leaks out and kills the crew. Same with fuel, You have a particle effect and it leaks out.
Gravity assists are fantastic

A car would be nearly unrecognizable at those speeds, never mind a command module with minimal reinforcement due to weight reductions.
So i've been playing this a couple days now, and i've had proud moments; [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23995305/arriving.png[/thumb][thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23995305/themun.png[/thumb] [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23995305/first_station.png[/thumb] And a few terrible; [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23995305/rip.png[/thumb] I'm now planning to visit Duna, but have a couple question. I am building a long-range ship in orbit around Kerbin and was wondering if a single docking port connection between front-end and engine segment was enough to keep the thing stable? Also, any tips on how much fuel i will be needing for a Duna trip?
Each part can only have one 'parent'. So if you want six segments attached to a single item, the shared part will have to be placed first.
Goddammit, the ship editor really needs the ability to assemble parts NOT attached to the command pot and then attach them. I'm trying to make a square framework out of multiple parts, but the fact that you cant even make a solid ring of objects without struts makes it pretty much impossible then.

[editline]14th April 2013[/editline] Ok fuck this game. I pressed escape, and my engines just exploded. I'm deleting it as I write this.
either use quantum struts or do triple connections using stock parts
either use quantum struts or do triple connections using stock parts
You can't do triple connections.
yes?
You can't do triple connections.
tri-coupler, docking ports on the connectors, mirror it on the other ship [editline]13th April 2013[/editline] docking gets a bit trickier with that because you have to align them, though

This was my plan, to have cubes formed out of metal frames and fuel tanks so the ship would be both light and have space within for crew, weapon systems, and a hangar. Is this possible to do effectively? or am I seriously fucked?
