is there a way to get rid of debris easily besides going through my consistency file and trying to take it all out one by one?
is there a way to get rid of debris easily besides going through my consistency file and trying to take it all out one by one?
go to settings, turn persistent debris to 0 load your game to a ship. if you want it back again, turn the slider back up to whatever you want the max to be
go to settings, turn persistent debris to 0 load your game to a ship. if you want it back again, turn the slider back up to whatever you want the max to be
thanks, my station is a ticking time bomb, there are like 5 different debris craft within' 2.5km of the station and i'm constantly worried of kessler sending one of those pieces of debris straight through the station.
I decided to make some coasters out of chainmail, i did want to do a KSP themed one but didnt have any ideas, the closes i came to was a stylised radioactive symbol. [t]http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14054906/nukeacoaster.jpg[/t]
Should probably do a 6-in-1, as opposed to a 4-in-1. 4-in-1 is rather thin and loose.
Orbital Sciences Cannot into space :(
its ok, as fate would have it lighting up rockets on 4/20 is just not gonna happen anywho today in duna-spaceprogram [t]http://imageshack.us/a/img213/9744/screenshot95.png[/t] we visit the little explored moon of Ike [t]http://imageshack.us/a/img441/6678/screenshot101o.png[/t] landing in the eisenhower crater, the rover deployment was successful and um roving.... also eve is cool to aerobrake in [editline]20th April 2013[/editline] really makes the heatshield look like a heatshield [editline]20th April 2013[/editline] eh wait a minute...thats my dunakhod rover in the top shot [editline]20th April 2013[/editline]
That's not the problem I have, the problem I have is keeping at the same distance from eachother, how the hell do you deal with 0.1m/s changes.
put them in kerbosyncronus orbit, that way they never change location [editline]20th April 2013[/editline] any1 know of rover wheels that are like the tiny probe ones but larger but not nearly as huge as the big rover wheels
Guess I'm not coming home anytime soon.
ya they probably should put in probetype legs that are heavier [editline]20th April 2013[/editline]
thanks, my station is a ticking time bomb, there are like 5 different debris craft within' 2.5km of the station and i'm constantly worried of kessler sending one of those pieces of debris straight through the station.
send something up to hit...er nudge the debris off course
send something up to hit...er nudge the debris off course
the only thing worse than a bunch of debris hanging around my station is a bunch of debris being flung around my station at high speeds.
Whatever happened to that mod that was going to let you put VAB-style stuff on other planets? That still being developed? I can't find the thread on the forums anywhere.
I honestly don't understand how people make space stations so easily. I was ripping my hair out for several days just trying to get this, the HMS Piece of Shit, into a low orbit. [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/846951118430891843/463D6ADED10229135A3790778374A80FA16D97DE/[/img_thumb]

Is there any chance of flat planes being added in addition to the CoM/L/T spheres? It's hard to tell for me how much they're out of alignment if they're nearly perfect.
I almost tossed my laptop across the room after my first attempt with docking. Then I discovered that all you gotta do is have properly distribute rcs (you want the same rcs force on each side of your center of mass, and also make sure you have rcs pointed in every direction, i.e. always place rcs with the four-symmetry option), and when you are docking, turn on chase camera mode, point your ship so it's in the same rotational orientation of the docking port, and then turn on rcs + sas and use translational keys to line up and move in. You actually don't need sas if your rcs is perfectly distributed, because then you won't tilt when you use the translational keys. You could also try to manually account for these tilts using the rotational keys simultaniously, but this is usually a recipe for headaches and wasted rcs fuel.
Your center of gravity changes depending on how much fuel you've used. It's just about impossible to place RCS directly in the center of mass.
I don't use the BAC 9 parts, but they are undeniably great looking. Release 2 just came out and it has incredible work. Get that guy working on all the IVA cockpits right fucking now.
Wow, they look really great. I'm using a B9 cockpit right now... time to check out the new stuff.
Wasn't there some B9 lander legs somewhere? I saw a gif a while ago and they looked really fucking cool.
Wasn't there some B9 lander legs somewhere? I saw a gif a while ago and they looked really fucking cool.
Apparently they're in this second release. I'm so excited to check this shit out. I hadn't reinstalled B9's pack into .19.1 in wait of this... I've missed it.
my room is filled with cum up to my waist its a decent sized room

I just had the most hilariously stupid idea Turn on no damage, and dock two ships Orbiting in opposite directions I wonder if an autopilot mod could manage the precision

I have been waiting for new parts of that guy for ages and they even look better than expected. Gonna download them right away when I am back home.
I just had the most hilariously stupid idea Turn on no damage, and dock two ships Orbiting in opposite directions I wonder if an autopilot mod could manage the precision
in theory if you took two objects with with opposite prograde vectors but the same speed (which is implied by a vector) and the exact same weight on either side, and connected them without modifying the vector the speed would cancel out and it would go crashing into kerbin (i think i'm not an astrophysicist). but the act of docking in ksp requires you to match velocities so nothing fun would happen. unless you basically manage to make their orbits so perfect they just collide
I just had the most hilariously stupid idea Turn on no damage, and dock two ships Orbiting in opposite directions I wonder if an autopilot mod could manage the precision
Genius idea right here. It probably work if you aligned their orbits perfectly with mechjeb and then made sure there was no chance of missing a port.
I have a MIGHTY NEED
Is that an invader zim reference?
http://imgur.com/a/bRclB good fucking lord [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] this shit needs to make it into the game. seriously.
the only problem is it makes every other part in the game look like crap this guy should work on a stock part replacer pack also it needs more converter parts imo
I know I'll be making use of these. Oh my.
