GOOD QUESTION! I feel like the Challenge mode in Portal wasn't developed enough, but I'm not sure how we could have done it much better within the time constraints. We had talked about adding 'widgets' to collect in hard to reach corners of the map... and now that I think about it, that idea could be where the transmission update evolved from.

I know..but people still don't believe me when I say this.
The clone idea makes sense because you see all the writing on the wall in the same handwriting and all the hints in different areas (meaning a past clone or android of you has been through here before)

The Flash Version map pack was amazing as a whole.
For a single map, there's one I can think of, but can't remember the name exactly. It's just one room, a door, and a hallway. In the room there's a cube under a grated floor, a button that controls one of the portals, and a grated ledge above. Then in the hallway there's another grated floor. That one had a pretty brilliant puzzle to it.
I also remember one where you're a pigeon day dreaming... that was pretty cool too.
I don't suppose you know about any of the improvements being made to the Source engine in Portal 2? The screens look amazing, much better than the Orange Box engine.

I don't like soda very much, but if I get one it's usually rootbeer (Barq's, A&W, Thomas Kemper... it's all good). I had a dandelion & burdock in London and it was pretty epic, but I can't find those around here. Ginger ale is good on flights. Squirt is pretty awesome too.
