Just got done playing a few races... Doesn't seem like something I could play, which is sad, because I really love fast arcade-like racing games.
I just realised it's using the NFS: Most Wanted world.

I just got an invite, but the beta is only open for 2 days till (only till 7am GMT tommorow) and I only just got the email :(
This downloads at the speed of sound, so don't worry. Well, it did for me atleast.
[editline]09:42AM[/editline]
It's only 1.6GB
Lol it's called NSFW
Also since I started playing this morning, this has become one of my fav games ever
It's exactly like most wanted but with multiplayer.
That's why I love it! [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/rating/heart.png[/img]
Do they give betakeys to only people from Europe and US?
If the game is being developed in collaboration by EA Black Box and EA Singapore, I'd suppose that they could hand out some betakeys for asia too.

pretty sure the closed beta is gonna end at midnight, so you won't have a lot of time to play.

I bet this game is based off NFS Most wanted, I can safely assume some things.
Heres some tips:
If you have to ram a road block, go for the rear end of the car. The engine acts like a counter weight and it doesnt slow you down as much.
The more you turn off roads, the harder time cops have chasing you. If you stay on a highway, it will be one long drive.
If your tires get popped, you have better traction on grass. (Explain to me how the hell that works)
PIT maneuvers are awesome stuff in pursuits. To do one, use the front of your car to side swipe into the rear side, behind the wheel, of the car in front of you. It will put them into a spin.

Actually, the cops and the physics are far better. (seems to be based on Undercover, namely because of the music. Then again it has most of the MW/Carbon traffic cars and also the Level 3/4/5 cars are Pontiac GTOs, Undercover GTOs and Corvette C5s again instead of whatever they were, whatever they were and 911 GTs in Undercover.)
Roadblocks will still be easier to push through with the rear end, but you will be slowed down alot, also you can no longer push traffic into them because traffic slow you down aswell.
The Cops are far, far better at keeping up. On Heat 2, it took me 5 minutes to shake two cars going through every shortcut I knew.
Haven't had my tyres spiked yet.
PITs do work on the cops still, but they also do it back, and they can really knock you off balance.
I also remember that if some cops try to box you in, slam on the brakes and push the rear car out.
Since Most wanted is one of the best driving games ever it's only natural EA would want to replicate it
I only just realised I got into the beta... Oh well.

What do you mean?
To be honest apart from Undercover's Pursuit Music and the main menu I haven't heard any music.
They're going to throw in a "Starter Pack" if you want to get to higher levels once they release the game..kind of bullshit. I was hoping it'd just stay for Speed Boost...oh well If the game turns out fun, it's only a one time purchase.

In the races there's music from bands like Pendulum, The Prodigy, etc. Like that.
I got into the last beta, but they sent my email out 2 hours prior to it closing and i missed out

Ooh, sounds like my kind of genres.
Hopefully it'll be better than the crap that was in Burnout Paradise... If I have to listen to "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne one more fucking time...
I've applied. It looks a lot like Most Wanted...

You can tell it not to play specific tracks

Yes, but all of them annoyed me...
In the races there's music from bands like Pendulum, The Prodigy, etc. Like that.
So shit then
So shit then
Better than the usual mix of pop and indie.
Better than the usual mix of pop and indie.
I'd rather have Indie/Alternative/Rock than the majority of The Prodigy/Pendulum's tracks
infact fuck all of that and just get Paul Linford to compose a score for races like in Carbon
