I'm going to save my time with this and just wait for the new Hot Pursuit.
I only played 2 tutorial races and took part in a pursuit.
Honestly, this is crap. All it seems to me is who has the best power ups. And using power ups in a single player pursuit chase? One of them being Emergency Evade which sends cop cars flying? Please. What a joke.
I don't know why but the minute I saw powerups in this game I instantly had a hate for it. I hate what NFS has become. I hated the whole tuning of vehicles and shit when all I want do is pick a car and race. I can let the tuner aspect slide but powerups no. I want to play NFS, not fucking Mario Kart. Where is the skill in racing when all you have the ability to send traffic flying at a player? Where's the skill in evading police when you can use a power up to push the cops who cornered you? Not even 10 mins into the game and I already hate it.
Well I discovered that I was in the closed beta but never realized because I don't check my Hotmail account (which is what my ea account is linked to, has been for a while) and discovered this, the day the closed beta ended, fucking hell. Either way I've been playing the open beta and fucking love it! It's amazingly well done and really is a total NFS Game :-D

Also it's fucking unstable.
In my opinion the driving just plain sucked, nothing like it was in most wanted. The only good part is that they merged the two cities together.

If it truly is like that, a.k.a Blur, then I don't think it will be in my computer for long...
You have to pay for power ups. In other words, only 10 year olds will be playing this game.

Not really, you can just earn them in races and pursuits, conservative and clever use of the power ups mean you can get on top power up wise very quickly.
Something far beyond me seeing how I ran out of juggernaut and nitrous very quickly.
Everytime I join a race, it loads, and then gives me some NETERROR_CONNECT_PEER_TIMEOUT error. Not working no matter what I do, same thing is happening to brother.

1. What's with the power ups? Car magnet is definetely too much imbalanced.
2. Where's customized tuning?
3. 2 types of race? Seriously...
I mean, sure it's a open beta, but yet it was going public. I'd expect more from a need for speed game.

I just tried it and i really like it. The powerups dont really bother me and the handling is awesome.

wow never knew about this game, ill definitely be trying this out. Willing that my graphics card can handle it.
Already signed up for the beta, and playing it a bit. Lots of fun, and it still feels like a NFS game.
