I decided to mine a hole through a planet, flew through it and turned around: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67978704/StarMade/starmade-screenshot-0001.png[/t] Also I still haven't seen a single pirate so far sadly.. And the shops don't have enough stuff in stock for all my needs..
I think the universes can get bugged and won't spawn pirates, i flew around for over an hour earlier and didn't come accross any pirates once. Was checking the navigation menu every minute or so as well
No you don't, but ok.
You do, it's in the privacy policy and the user agreement. Also, I wish the game had darker blue blocks so I could make a proper TARDIS.
Server can handle more then previous time so i am accepting 3 new invites
Invite? Oh a new page. Hello. I've found the wonders of ice planets and they yummy ice crystals that sell for a lot. After 20 minutes of work on one I collected 2000 ice crystals and made 1.4 million.
if you attach enough thrusters to a planet can you move it?
I tried it with an asteroid and it didn't let me, couldn't access the build block thing.
Instead of mining, you could always just kill Pirates, they drop billions of dollars worth of equipment and mined materials.
Right from the start you can buy enough rockets to blow up entire planets :v:
So I played for a bit, I'm kind of undecided as to whether or not I like the game. It does have a lot of potential, though, I think with a bit of time, a better interface and some more content it could be a very enjoyable game.
-snip- Nevermind
Fuckin' love this game, built a capital ship on my brother's server
I can't join Vagax's server at all, is it online? [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Wait, nevermind, he got the port wrong.
I can't seem to get my power supply to regen any faster, regardless of how many units I stick together. I swear I currently have three to four hundred of them in my current ship and they can't seem to support my anti-matter cannons for shit. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] They can fire like 20 shots before emptying, but the batteries take a full 30~ seconds to fully recharge.
I need a server to play on.

Also antimatter cannons suck up a ton of shit.
I need a server to play on.
69.76.3.7:4242 It's my own server. Anyone is free to play on it, and it's going to be up 24/7, but you might get a lag if you're outside of the US.
My computer is so crappy that I can't even run the damn game. pls help
Tomorrow more players will be accepted to my Vagax server

How about a 6x6x6 solid cube?
Tomorrow more players will be accepted to my Vagax server
Is it already up?
Okay, thanks guys. Currently this is what my ship looks like: The towers on the left and right are cannons (obviously) that fire independently and the ones on the top and bottom are filled to the brim with batteries. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Also, funny thing: when I even went near the atmosphere of a nearby planet, it dragged me in harder than I could get away because my ship was so huge. I have a giant nest of thrusters on the other side of my ship, but that still wasn't enough to get me off.
I don't understand. Whenever I get close to a planet, it teleports everything around. I have never been able to get close enough to a planet to land because everything shifts around. What the hell am I doing wrong?
You do, it's in the privacy policy and the user agreement. Also, I wish the game had darker blue blocks so I could make a proper TARDIS.
Well, I have bad news. You can't watch porn if you're not 18 either :(.
Oh god, whenever my ship is anywhere close to the planet it drags it into orbit and hurls it around like a big rock around itself :v: [editline]21st April 2013[/editline]
I don't understand. Do you guys do manufacturing or buy your stuff from the shops? Also, do the shops restock on everything or only certain things, cause on servers the spawn shop seems to be out of hull blocks a lot.
Do you guys do manufacturing or buy your stuff from the shops? Also, do the shops restock on everything or only certain things, cause on servers the spawn shop seems to be out of hull blocks a lot.
In order to build really large ships, you NEED manufacturing. And no, shops do not restock at all from what I can tell (though I could be wrong). [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] You can sell stuff to the shops and they'll retain it too. This means that in multiplayer servers shops may not even run out of stuff if people keep returning to them.

I'm also surprised it would be loading it slow. I have a pretty decent computer.
Killing a pirate ship and salvaging it gets you so many goodies early on.
No, it just appears that stuff moves around from what I can tell on my friends computer, and I know it's not that great. On my computer there's a small graphical glitch that artificially lengthens the distance of where the planet appears to be and where it actually is, but it loads fast enough for me to quickly notice that though, whereas my friend's computer doesn't. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline]
Killing a pirate ship and salvaging it gets you so many goodies early on.
It's extremely easy to do too, considering how dumb they are. Just tail behind them and shoot a hole through their ass until they die.
I love how you can steal a mob core and use that for your ship while it still retains the mob core designation.
Killing a pirate ship and salvaging it gets you so many goodies early on.
how 2 win @ starmade: -make ship with loads of lasers -kill a pirate -get stuff worth several million credits -do whatever
