No, it just appears that stuff moves around from what I can tell on my friends computer, and I know it's not that great. On my computer there's a small graphical glitch that artificially lengthens the distance of where the planet appears to be and where it actually is, but it loads fast enough for me to quickly notice that though, whereas my friend's computer doesn't. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] It's extremely easy to do too, considering how dumb they are. Just tail behind them and shoot a hole through their ass until they die.
Rocks, shops, stations all stay pretty still. But planets just move all over the place. If I turn to keep heading towards the planet once I get closer it moves again somewhere else. To the point where I pass by millions of asteroids and shops but never get close to the planet. It only does this on multiplayer servers. It hardly happens in singleplayer.
Claiming planets and space stations in the name of the Dalek! My empire rises :v:
There a update just recently I recommend the servers to update if they are Facepunch. Edit: bleh im late be nice to me.
This game definitely has a lot of potential, I hope he gets some dosh and more programmers/artists and this becomes a huge thing, in the scale of Kerbal Space Program or something like that.

You can fit your ship between his two lasers and avoid the shots, and just put very few shots in the front center to instantly overheat their core and put them out

Considering running a 24/7 server of this on a RAM drive so it should be fairly fast. -snip- I might change it to a whitelist in the future with a web page to ask for an invite, all players that have played before then will automatically be added (if there's a list somewhere with that info) edit: tell me if it works, port should be forwarded edit2: based in Seattle area, WA, USA
It's gotten to the point where the AI can't harm me, so there is no point in using hulls when I have a ton of shields.
How do you declare an area as a Faction's homebase? I can't seem to find it within any of the menus or on the StarMade website either. Is it a command?
How do you declare an area as a Faction's homebase? I can't seem to find it within any of the menus or on the StarMade website either. Is it a command?
You need to buy a faction block and place it.
Whenever I try to download the launcher it freezes with a megabyte left to download and eventually throws up a "failed network" error. Anyone else getting this problem?
Run as administrator.
So why is the Facepunch server not up to date?
FP server is out of date
So my game starts to load, freezes, and then crashes to desktop. Any ideas? [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] G-guys?
Can't seem to figure out how to mark my planet so I can return.
Can you walk in the interior of your ship?
Can you walk in the interior of your ship?
Depends on if you actually build a interior for your ship.

Try to keep going towards where you last saw the planet, not the new one. Planets use a single texture until you get within a certain distance of them, then they load their chunks are remove the texture. Once again, you're probably flying away without letting the chunks load or something. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] That used to happen to me before I figured out what was happening.
Goddamnit seriously, I can't get the game to run, period. It loads 100% on the black screen with the logo and then just... crashes.
Can't seem to figure out how to mark my planet so I can return.
If you hit N and select New Waypoint, you can type in a coordinate and it'll highlight the quadrants you need to travel through. You can't really mark a planet for later use though, but you can write down the coordinates that the planet is at.
I want to play with you guys, what server are you all on?
This is a superb game even at alpha, but the biggest issue I am seeing is good servers, I dont know my server technobabble but it seems to be a common issue and rocketdog server when it was up was the only server i didnt get assraped by high ping or server cant answer every 5 second.
How laggy is the NASS server usually, and how many people generally play?
Anybody know what to do about the weird sound looping glitching sounding thing? Seen a few people comment about it, but nobody seems to have any fixes.
Do you guys know if the FP server has been updated?
Do you guys know if the FP server has been updated?
nope
I can't seem to get my power supply to regen any faster, regardless of how many units I stick together. I swear I currently have three to four hundred of them in my current ship and they can't seem to support my anti-matter cannons for shit. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] They can fire like 20 shots before emptying, but the batteries take a full 30~ seconds to fully recharge.
According to /vg/, 3D crosses(lines that go in X Y Z and intersect in the middle) are the best for regen while keeping a compact size since regen is based on how long the gen is in the XYZ coords. They did some crazy huge-ass crossed generator over there: [t]http://i.imgur.com/1Ok1V9i.jpg[/t]
Goddamnit man update the server
