So, is it just me, or do shields draw way too much power for bugger all protection, or am I putting together my power wrong?

Oh, so I'm not crazy then. I built an 8x8x25 brick of power, and just three shield generators began to drain it.
Turns out the turrets werent missing they are invisible [IMG]http://i37.tinypic.com/rmn42e.png[/IMG] I just want to test the fucking A.I turrets for fuck's sake game, is that just asking too much?
Wellllll power is generated by grid dimensions not number of blocks, so an 8x8x25 'frame' or 'cross' would generate just as much

Tried to download an autoclicker from CNET. NEVER THE FUCK AGAIN. Endless loop of: "want to download this software?" "No." "Okay!" Downloading autoclicker... "Want to download THIS software?" "No!" Between staying at my fathers while my mother's in hospital. And the gargantuan amount of revision I have, I have hardly any time to play this game. D: I always seem to end up thinking about things to do in this game though when I get the time to.

I hope the 'sectors' are made much larger, for I end up in the transitional spot between them with pirates unable to kill them. I also hope we get some FTL drive that lets us import our own 0,0,0 coordinates and jump to them

I think an actual jump gate would be better. Maybe ones you have to actually build. Building them yourself would make an FTl drive less "end-game"

I really do hope the power system is more fleshed out, having just the mediocre power cores gets tedious when managing your behemoth of a ship.

Tip for you guys and reactors: Don't make huge bricks of power, instead make the largest volume you can with your power. Bricks = High load (max pow) but low recharge High Volume Reactors = Lower load (still pretty high) but high recharge The easiest way to make a good reactor is to make the reactor the entire length+height+width of your ship, just going around the outside of it.

Despite not protecting you worth jack.
