It actually does take a lot of work to make a powerful ship. You'd be suprised. Making it look good and be efficient in combat is actually really difficult.

Considering development progress and the amount of features already in the game in such a short time. I'd say this one. But just my opinion.
Game's really in development, and it has a tiny community. The owner puts lots of good updates out, and the game itself is pretty fun.
Basically don't expect much from a free alpha lol

I'm not sure what to do. I built a ship and spent some money, can't get my collector beam things to work properly. Do I go harvest stuff? Do I need to build a factory or something?

What I'm hoping is that different factions in MP servers will like take over planets mine it, and sell the resources or something, start wars etc.
Just entered a planet's atmosphere then suddenly everything disappeared and there's a huge blue eclipse in my screen, I've also had a lot of planets I was going to change color or outright disappear.
Also, shitload of pirates holy crap.

That's not really helping me right now as i'm playing this game.
this game seems great, but I would like a bit more direction as to what it is I do with my ship really.
I'm stuck in the same boat, features are awesome but there's not anything clear as to what you should be doing (Which makes sense, the game is still in early development).
For how early in development the game's been in though, it's pretty cool, landing on a planet and going around on foot's fun and all, can't wait for it to be more complete.

Can't seem to find anyone either, I'm wondering if I'm not alone on this server.
Well once im done this game of dota I might create a FP faction for everyone to get our bearings Ive wandered off to about 6 sectors from the spawn area and it would be nice if we could set up a base on some of the planets here, theres a full solar system where I am (ill post where it is once im back on)
Just hope its possible to add more people to ownership of a faction so they can accept invites as I wont be on 100% of the time with uni

What would be cool is if we could gather the materials to build a space elevator out of a planet's gravity well. Dock our ships and climb down the bean stalk.

Yeah, I can't navigate worth shit, everywhere I go, the planets just disappear, I'm assuming the Sectors are places you teleport to, a bit like changing map? But that the maps aren't the same as what you saw before arriving to it, I don't know.
On this, is there chests or vaults you can make? If we're going to start a faction and get resources and what not we'd need some place to pool stuff up. Also the fact that there's so little shop makes having to travel a lot.

I found an asteroid with lava on it. I took the opportunity to cover my ship in lava and fly to the next solar system.
I looked on the help and bugs section, but I'm having issues with what sounds like sounds that are either super slowed down or just repeating a lot.
Every time I do something I hear this really loud noise that I can't describe, but it lasts a while. Is this a normal problem?
The amount of minecraft-style spaceship building games is getting ridiculous now.
