Railguns fire slow. Also, any ship shape can be efficient. Go to the wiki to see how to build a ship.
Guys, which server are we currently using?
It's a mix between Minecraft and the X series. That sentence instantly made me interested. Get any active servers put in the OP
One thing I will say though, and I don't know if this was just connection issues, but combat seemed really inconsistent.
Sometimes a single blast from my lasers would destroy a hull block, sometimes it wouldn't even make a mark. Same for missiles; sometimes they'd blow up and half the enemy ship would go with it, and other times absolutely nothing would happen.
I think I encountered a bug. The sounds does not disappear, it like echos.

What have I been telling you people? Go to the wiki, or bugs section in the forum to report bugs. We know these bugs are there, and schema is working on them.
Its in heavy alpha. For a game thats in early alpha I'd say its pretty far into development. Compare it to blockade runner's alpha.

The strategy behind it is that I go full-throttle at another ship, shoot all my way there to make a giant hole in it, then ram straight through it.

I have a ton of wrecks all over. I ditch the ship after a battle. Most of them are still operational, just not fully.

I made a giant penis with huge rockets on it. My strategy is I blow an enormous hole in a ship and then thrust in and out of it.

and honestly, why are so PARANOID about us taking over "your" game.
We're enjoying it, buying it, and having fun. By saying you don't want people to play a game you also enjoy because we'll ruin the community or something is actually really weird. I can't even name one game FP has affected in a negative way. Not trying to be a dick or anything, and I'm not even mad, just confused with your grudge you seem to have.

I'm not. The "FACEPUNCH INVASION IMMINENT" post on the forums was a joke. Then I got around to helping you guys and figured out its difficult for you to navigate a website.

This game isn't really ready for such an audience yet. What happens is everyone comes in and sees the game, all the bugs, all the unfinished features, and they get tired and bored of it, and they never come back. I mean theres not much else to say about that. It really is just a huge problem.
