Played about 4 hours of this multiplayer with my friend. After second hour me and him both bought. Great game.
Aaand misclicked and suddenly my ship is gone somewhere. Good, just after I spend so much time building it.

I haven't played any servers other than Mald's, but this one seems to be more stable than singleplayer.
Ship building seems a bit difficult, but this game looks really neat anyways.
It occurs to me that Brisarge running around the internet finding forums with threads about this game and yelling at the users (and coming off sounding like he's the developer, ouch) is doing more damage than - god forbid - people talking about the game (and it's flaws) on other forums.
Strange concept, right?
Also, "early development" doesn't change reality. If you have a broken, bugged game, people aren't just magically going to enjoy it if you repeat "IT'S IN REALLY EARLY DEVELOPMENT, GOD!!" enough times. If it's not ready for public consumption then don't publish it/ start selling it.
That said, it doesn't seem anyone's saying it's broken or unplayable.
Yeah until someone mentioned that Brisarge wasn't actually the dev he implied himself to be; I was withholding from buying it just because I didn't want to give my money to someone who insults me.
But since that is now sorted out, $3 on the way to whats-his-name when I get home.

The only thing we found problematic on Mald's server is that the program was only sequestering 900MB of RAM for itself, not sure if that was simply his computer or just java.

It's a radeon 1100m sorta deal, basically from 'round 2006.
Game's real good, just can't wait for more fleshed out features, for now I don't find much to do other than fly around on planets and nothing else.

The game is surprisingly good for an alpha, plus the price of $3 is nothing really. Compared to other games (such as minecraft) that have charged for more for less. Also you don't have to pay for the game while it is in alpha. You can choose not to buy the game during alpha.
The best we can do for the game is to report bugs and submit the crash dumps (gives you an option when the game crashes to send them). Other than that you can either enjoy the game with friends, to pass some time or wait until more bug/crash fixes in the near future.
Looks pretty awesome, going to try it tommorow. Are the points local to a server or is it a global thing?

im hosting a private server for buds, and i have a small spacestation and a shitty ship.
First experience playing with this: Played through the tutorial, then flew to a nearby planet, landed my ship, got out, and my ship was removed for some glitch, stranding me on the planet.
Doesn't mean it wasn't fun.

Yeah there is some glitch that moves ships hundreds of meters away if they are on a planet. Happens usually when the server is saving. I recommend having a spare core block to get out of those situations. I carry around 4 just in case.
