If the servers were more stable and could run 100+ players you would have cultures to exterminate.
However its still in alpha and thus we still have to wait for stability and planet mobs.

How do you guys land on planets let alone get near them? Whenever I fly towards a planet, the planet disappears somewhere along the way..
Do you have to enable pirates or something like that? I haven't seen a single one..

I see pirates everywhere and planets are easy to get to and I'm playing singleplayer, no settings modified. I just recently blew one up (now THAT'S glitchy).
The planets are kinda fucked, they keep teleporting all over the place and they often disappear when I get close then slowly load for me, just keep going in their direction and then you'll be in some sort of colored eclipse and if you wait a bit the planet should load.
Basically since each sector is essentially a self-contained 'cell' of the universe, the planets in the background are all representations of where the planet is in relation to yourself.
If you sit back and watch, you can see a collection of planets rotate around a star.
Started the game and sound glitches so hard, it's impossible to play with it. All of the sound effects are played in a 'slow motion'.
Anyone that's run a server, does it take a lot of bandwidth? I might be able to reliably host a server. Also thinking about creating a little server config tool since this game's relatively new and it might actually have a use.
Okay turrets and or bobby ai needs work for sure, there's no way to toggle them off from shooting while flying my ship and end up never stop shooting a shop and devouring my energy. Other than that they attach well and finish my Hiigaran Destroyer.

Getting this as well, it was ear-splittingly loud when I first started it up.
Getting the game now, I'm going to join a public server, build a massive space station and crash it into someone, or maybe turn it into Omega or even land the entire station on a planet.

I found my first planet.
I ended up stuck inside it while it generated, then my ship got pushed out by the spawning blocks and flew off into the distance while I was stuck on the planet.

Despite that, I'm definitely having fun with this. It's pretty good.
Me and a few friends have been playing this for a while and another friend wanted to join, I pick him up in my ship and we finally get back to our planet. He accidentally fires my ships missiles that lock onto one of my other friends ship:

I'm on a private server with a few buds, don't know what server everyone else is on.
Am I using the catalog wrong? I'm clicking "Buy", I have the credits, but nothing is happening.
No Party Hat's planet on Rocketttdog's just ate everyone's ships.

So do we have a dedicated FP server yet? starmade.nasszone.com:4242 is kinda lame in my opinion, you have unlimited cash so its kinda of like creative mode i guess.
Once they sort the economy model so that everyone isn't running around with pants full of money and flying death missile silo's, this could be pretty cool

how do I link multiple cannons to a single weapons computer? I'm trying to do the "make output" thing with R but that only makes me get out of the ship. Tutorial keeps bugging out.
