Got great leader from muting my team 90% of games, and being an asshole thanks Riot.
okay so in my attempts to further my ability to play above a Silver V level, I've been reviewing past games I've lost to see what went wrong the only things i'm relaly doing wrong (i know i'm doing more things but these are the most glaring) are having a bad cs early game (late game i ramp it back up, but early i usually end up at like MAYBE 60 in ten minutes, which isn't that great) and also making poor decisions (say i'm mid and they gank bot, bot pings me for help so i go to help and just get killed because bot can't do anything useful) how do i fix those? i'd assume just experience, but hopefully you guys have a better idea.
My two ranked games today: Zed afks and lies about reason to for afk. Just so happend to lose his connection when he got mad nobody voted yes for his surrender vote, and came back the very last second. Next game, we have a Soraka mid. Enemy Lux goes afk, we win. yey.

yeah i kind of figured i was poking too much when should i poke, then? part of my problem is i kind of tunnel vision and focus on poking instead of farming. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] i guess the fact that i recognize these problems is a good thing
Well I tend to poke if the enemy is getting a little too aggressive for my taste, unless I want the enemy to be aggressive and push my lane. Usually if the minions are chilling in the center of the lane, I won't poke that much at all. It's really just to feel out the situation. Find out your goal for the lane, whether you want to push them, stay in the center, or let them push and then react accordingly. If you're poking the enemy all the time, they're going to play more passively (usually). If you don't poke at all, they'll tend to play more aggressively. Use this to your advantage and get the enemy where you want them. Poking is all about controlling your lane. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] For instance, I play top a lot. My two main top laners, Chogath and Singed, I tend to let the enemy push my lane to just outside the tower range, because I'm pretty fragile early game and I like the safety the turret can offer me. Protects me from ganks (normally) and I can use it if I get low on health. Plus, when you have a cho and they dive you, I can CC them under the turret and make them wish they didn't do it. Gotten a few double kills from a gank under my tower. So I really don't poke until they get to the point I want them to, then poke if they push a little too far.

why do i never seen yorick anymore?
why do i never seen yorick anymore?
I've never seen Yorick myself for some reason, even though he's one of my favorite top champ, I seem to be the only one playing him and he's pretty damn good.
Oh God, that zoom on Snoopy's eyes.
what a bizarre setup ad support top and bruiser bot why would you do that? i get the added pressure on the solo top but doesn't that put your solo bot at risk?
what a bizarre setup ad support top and bruiser bot why would you do that? i get the added pressure on the solo top but doesn't that put your solo bot at risk?
because tryhards
that was helpful
that was helpful
no really, they only do it because people in tournaments and such do it all the time i bet they don't even know why the pro players does it
i was referring to the LCS game, so in this case i literally meant hey why are the pros doing it
i was referring to the LCS game, so in this case i literally meant hey why are the pros doing it
oh :I thought you were talking about a game you were in or something
oh. nope he was talking about snoopeh's face so i assumed we were just talking about the lcs now but seriously it seems like a weird way to do it blue has jungle nasus too which is odd
For lane swapping, early turret, free farming for adcs and crippling their top laner. For nasus jungle, Q stacks more with larger jungle creeps, takes objectives fairly fast, nasus isn't very gold intensive and in the name of all that is holy. Fuck wither.
jungle nasus is 12 times better than top nasus
wait, Q gets a higher bonus when you kill large creeps (and presumably champs)? wouldn't that cripple their bottom though by putting him in roughly the same situation against the other team's ad/support? [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] man i need to try jungle nasus now
wait, Q gets a higher bonus when you kill large creeps (and presumably champs)? wouldn't that cripple their bottom though by putting him in roughly the same situation against the other team's ad/support?
That would be correct, the reason that shen, renekton and rumble are so popular is partially because they can handle 2v1s well, rumble has some poke mitigation with shield and can semi-safely farm (He's probably the worst of the standard 2v1 laners but still) and his ult is in general all that you want from him everything else is a bonus. Shen can farm out 1v2 decently with his Q sustain and until teamfights turn into proper 5v5 baiting with ult > taunt is all a shen really needs independent of items. For renekton he has in built sustain with cull the meek and his ult is all the tankiness he really needs for a while. It's not uncommon for top laners to stay in their lane for longer than normal and farm out the shoved up lane and bot lanes generally roam heavily and shove out other lanes (Adcs general weakness in S3 relegating them to a more utility role has allowed adcs to get away with minimal farm).
I see. Thank you for explaining it. I wish casters would analyze the comps and setups sometimes. I don't expect them to like explain each champ's abilities or anything, but explaining the strengths and weaknesses would be really nice, especially when you realize that people copy pro builds without really knowing WHY. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] on another note, i'm wondering how jungle nasus would work. presumably you'd want wither and spirit sand or whatever his E is called for fast jungle clear times and good ganks but then your Q is levelled last and isn't Q like your best damage ability?
Wither/Spirit I dunno name I don't play nasus I don't play him are maxed first because spirit I dunno is used for the armour shred and wither is used because fuck that goddamn near stun for 10 seconds son of a bitch fuck I hate wither goddamn. Anyways Q doesn't really gain that much from levels in general the only thing it needs are the last hit stacks so there's no reason to level it while there are good reasons for the amount of utility you gain for levelling the other two.
i can't even imagine the wither ganks oh god
"EUW is having problems too" Like always you mean?
"EUW is having problems too" Like always you mean?
Oh yeah just played a dominion game like 30min ago, everyone from the game had constant jumping ping up to 500 ping and few of us disconnected. :v
