That Darius ult nerf is actually a buff for me in lane. Instead of waiting for the killing blow, I just ult when the enemy is fully stacked.
what the fuck is varus sleeper op or something i've only lost 1 of the 8 games i've played as him in Silver and i am NOT that good
Honestly he's not sleeper anything right now, his ranked pickrate has been over 15% for a good while now, and his winrate has been over 50% for like a month.
Not exactly a challenging one, but yay, 100 wins!
thats a good win/loss ratio
It is? Woo
I rarely see positive w/l below lvl30 that I think you might be even be ready for ranked when you hit lvl30 lol
I rarely see positive w/l below lvl30 that I think you might be even be ready for ranked when you hit lvl30 lol
That was my plan. I'm still not 100% confident but I like to think I do well and I do want to start ranked sometime.
My personal plan with ranked was that I should be able to play all roles good enough before jumping into ranked. Because you never know what lane you get in ranked. I.e I didn't want to be "that guy" who insta-locks mid when someone else has already picked mid, only because "I don't play any other lanes".
I main support and jungle. I can mid or solo top pretty well, what I don't think I'm very good at yet is adc or other carries.
I main jungle, with a side in Support and ADC. Mid and Toplane aren't my best, but I can play them without feeding and having it impact the team too drastically. It was just my stupidity that got me in Mid for 4 out of my 5 placement matches, shouldn't have played Ranked when I wasn't ready for it.

What the hell?
No one picked mid for 4 out of 5 matches? What the hell?
I was in shock. My thoughts going into each match were "Nobody will pick jungle". Bad Maokai's. Bad Maokai's everywhere.
Losing LP for dodging is so stupid. I lose 3 LP (Usually gain/lose around 5 per match) for dodging cos of some retard calling mid when he's last pick, then taking smite and locking in.

I don't really mind but I just don't like how dodging loses LP. It should be the first dodge only has a time penalty.
I was in shock. My thoughts going into each match were "Nobody will pick jungle". Bad Maokai's. Bad Maokai's everywhere.
How does one be bad at maokai he's like about as foolproof as junglers go.
How does one be bad at maokai he's like about as foolproof as junglers go.
They must've been Maxing E first. I distinctly remember several people diving to their doom by W'ing enemies under a tower.
Just played Hecarim jungle for the first time ever. Holy fuck the ganks.
ugh why do people not surrender when its obviously over like 7/17 they have almost all our towers over while we have none of theirs this isn't even fun, it's just torture. I'd rather do calculus homework than play games like that.
What would you guys suggest as a "fix" for the shitty Ranked mentality that way too many players seem to have. You know the sort of people who flames at champ select and later blames people during the game. I rarely see shit like that on normal games. And if my team is behaving "normally" during a ranked game, I usually end up winning.
I play my game and mute them

I had a Janna just today who started the game pissed at everyone just because our ez said he was a pro, soon enough janna got pissed because she had fallen from her platinum promo to gold III because of ''pros'' like ezreal, she stopped flaming after i confronted her about it and eventually we won the game. If they won't calm down after you've done everything you can to calm them, you'd better just give up on said person and try to work with the rest of your team.
btw I started on an updated list of LoL terminology
General terms (For people who may not of played a MOBA before) mia/miss/ss = shorthand for missing. It usually means the enemy is missing from their lane. gank = Ganking involves coming from the jungle or river in order to hopefully kill the enemy laner here and now. ward = a 75/125 gold item that can be placed on the ground to provide vision of the surrounding area, can also be used as a verb e.g "Ward the Dragon pit" care = stands for becareful farm = Farming refers to primarily killing minions or jungle monsters in order to get gold CS = stands for creep score which means how many minions you have killed. You can view this on the right of the scoreboard. tank = when used as a verb it refers to soaking up damage or attracting focus from the enemy. focus = To target a player as to kill them first. carry = carrying is when you contribute the most overall into securing victory for your team. lane = the paths that are guarded by towers and minions travel across on. There are 3 of them in Summoner's Rift (5v5), 2 in Twisted Treeline and 1 in Howling Abyss (5v5) feed = feeding is when you constantly die for silly or no reason. A feeder is someone who dies a lot and is a liability for the team. b/back = Used for telling someone to retreat of back off. Can also refer to recalling back to the spawn fountain (By pressing B) last hit = Getting the last hit on a minion in order to get gold. harass/poke = Two similar terms that refer to damaging the enemy to force them to use Health potions, heal or recall. scaling = refers to abilities that get stronger as you obtain the specific stat that it requires. The most common scalings are AD or AP. (See the Champion Stats section for what AD and AP mean) bd/backdoor = Is a tactic when you try to push down the enemy turrets without them noticing. Ability/Item terms tooltip = Is the description of an ability that appears when you hover your mouse over the icon. CC = crowd control. This is a bracket term that refers to anything that prevents the enemy champions from performing an actions. e.g Silence, stun, Knock up and Slows. Silence = Getting silenced will prevent you from using abilities. If you're in the middle of channeling an ability, it will be interrupted. Stun = If you're stunned, you won't be able to do anything for the duration. Suppress = The same as a Stun except it usually lasts longer and you can only Cleanse it before the duration ends with the item 'Quicksilver Sash'. Root = Roots are often mistaken for Stuns. When you're rooted, you will not be able to move. You will still be able to use basic attacks and abilities. Blind = A blind will ensure that all your basic attacks will deal no damage for the duration. The only champions that have a blind are Teemo, Quinn and Heimerdinger. Slow = Slows are self explanatory, they make you move slower for the duration. pot = potion. The term used by itself usually refers to a health potion. A fort pot refers to the item 'Elixir of Fortitude'. skillshot = An ability that is manually aimed. e.g Sivir's (Q) Boomerang Blade or Ashe's (R) Enchanted Crystal Arrow. Unique Passive = Is an item effect that will not stack if you have more than one of the item. Items with the same Unique Passive name (e.g Maim) will also not stack. Champion Stats AD = Attack Damage. Your basic attack damage is based off how much AD you have, some champion abilities scale off AD (e.g Garen). Damage that scales off AP is denoted by a red number in ability tooltips. AP = Ability Power. Some champion abilities can also scale off AP. Damage that scales off AP is denoted by a blue number in ability tooltips. Armor = Is how much physical damage you can ignore. This is calculated by: Armor / (100 + Armor). e.g If you have 100 armor, you will ignore 50% of any incoming physical damage. MR/Magic Resist = Is how much magic damage you can ignore. This is calculated the same way as Armor.
feel free to expand on it or correct my mistakes
Kiting - Continuously being a faggot by backing away and attacking a pursuing enemy champion in such a way that the enemy is damaged while unable to deal damage back.
teemo = spawn of satan, biggest asshole in the game
Knock up, knock back in stun I guess. re- Short for returned. Spoken after a missing champion in lane has returned to the lane to alert your team. Peel- Using CC abilities or items to stop an enemy from focusing on a friendly champion. Pull- Drawing jungle minion aggro by being closest to it. May also refer to abilities that can pull champions (ie. Blitzcrank's Rocket grab) CD- Cooldowns [editline]15th April 2013[/editline] Dive/Towerdive- The act of chasing an enemy under their tower or team to kill a target. Often frowned upon as it's risky. Taunt- A form of hard CC that forces your champion to attack the user.
Ok I'm playing Akali mid, but every single time I get someone who does massive bursts of damage. how am I supposed to harrass them if they nearly kill me in one go? [editline]14th April 2013[/editline] Or they or tanky and my attacks dont do shit
