Metal Gear Solid 3 and Mother 3 both have fantastic endings. Both are also very sad.
Final Fantasy 7. That was fuckin intense.
MW1. That bonus level placed a very awesome dot in the end of a fine sentance. IT felt like reuniting once I found myself in the plane getting raped by everything on expert.
Mass Effect 1 & 2 undeniably had the best for me, but some others are pretty brilliant, such as the infamous Meat Circus from Psychonauts, and Guitar Hero 2 and 3's were pretty amazing.
Freelancer had a pretty good final battle. And KoToR, Deus Ex, ME2, Red Dead Redemption.
The Opposing Force ending was pretty good in my opinion. It was kind of sad how Shephard fought through increasingly overwhelming odds, with almost no allies and what seems like every race in the entire universe and beyond out for his blood only to have the Gman put him in indefinite stasis. In my opinion Shephard had a much harder fight than Freeman did, although the actual boss fight was arguably a lot easier. The closing osprey ride after the fight was pretty good too, it was very surreal.
Fighting REX in MGS
Probably my favorite ending that I've seen so far is the good ending to the first Bioshock. Even though the final boss left a lot to be desired, that ending cut-scene made it all worth while, and made me tear up the first time I saw it. :unsmith:
