I remember this one Undead DK DPS, who taught me that GearScore means absolutely fuck all.
Running Halls of Stone, Me, him, and someone else were DPSing. According to my Gearscore Addon, this guy had like 5100GS going for him. He didn't wipe us, but to this day I wonder how someone with that gear did 1600 DPS. On bosses. Pile on the fact that he was judging everyone else by our gear and calling us bad, I hope this man was some kind of troll. After the end boss he ninja-looted everything and left.
you're an idiot for even thinking gearscore meant something in the first place, you're just as bad as all them other fags who leave group because the healer/tank doesn't have enough gearscore therefore they are incapable of tanking content, especially when the gear the tank has is better than the gear that drops in said instance

For three instances in a row around level 50 I got ninjad on all of my int gear(on my RaFing priest) by the paladin tank. THREE TIMES!

In the beginning of me playing WoW, I had a feral druid. I spend almost 40 levels getting him intellect when i found out.
I would nominate half my server.
That part is: All the stupid 16 year old swedish retards that don't know shit about his/her class and go all out for the stupid GearScore.
A druid would not heal in tree form because "It looks goofy and sucks"

Gearscore itself isn't a bad addon, it's the fuckwits that misuse it and throw all effort and common sense out the window so they can use a number instead. On top of that it just adds up ilvls, so you could be a warrior and wear only pally plate and resto leather and still get a high GS.
Elitist Group is similar to GS but does a much better job.

I just tried using strangulate on it. It said immune.
I'm a feral/resto drood, and I think I'm pretty good with it, cause I die rarely, can keep aggro pretty well and generally succed as tank. Like that one time we finished boss from half health even though our heal failed to heal himself and died. Once, I've been playing with another drood. I was tanking and he was healing. Not to say that his gear wasn't even remotely good, he also didn't use ANY of his HoTs. After telling him to use them, he tells me I'm a crap tank, cause my stats are fail. Apparently, druid tanks don't need agility and stamina as much as they need strength and armor. Agility is not good for me, cause I don't need attack power, but need health and armor for damage reduction -_0 So he said that he can't use HoTs because he would run out of mana and we would die quickly. We got wiped like 3 times before we finished dragon stables in Utgarde Keep. Fail me :< So, I asked my guild about what stats should I have, just to make sure I'm "good" druid. After telling that drood that he is wrong, and my gear is very good for me and that he is just stupid about strength, he replies that I'm retard, cause he never said anything about strength. After pointing out where he said it, he still didn't believe me and we got wiped again cause he pulled mobs while I was looking for way to copy/paste what he said (and failing miserably).

You didn't understand what I was trying to say, the point of using strangulate is to disrupt a spell, not to silence the boss.

You need an elemental shaman with 5/5 talent points in Reverberation for that achievement. I don't think Death Grip would have helped.

Yeah i realized that but he still couldn't get it through his thick skull that strangulate interupts spells.
A few months ago (like in June or July) while leveling up I was running Mana-Tombs. A druid tank, me as priest healer, two DPS I don't remember and a DK dps.
We enter the place and go to the left in that first corridor. Everyone's eating and buffing up, the tank is the farthest behind of us all if you were looking from inside the huge room and into the corridor.
The DK uses death grip on a mob and it pulls two groups with it on to us, since the rest of us are eating and we got too many mobs on us we wipe.
Afterwards the DK says: The druid aggroed. Everyone else states; no, we saw you use death grip, there's no way you can blame this on someone else. He starts swearing and leaves and keep insulting everyone though whispers for a while. I make fun of how he couldn't spell the word fuck correctly and then he ignores me.
Funny thing is, this character is still the same level as back then and the last time he was seen was in December so he must've abandoned that character afterwards.
How the hell did he think 'fuck' was spelled? Seriously?

You can't Strangulate, however some of his casts can be interrupted by Mind Freeze

From what i've seen from my own personal DK, you can strangulate to interupt his spells. I'll test it some time when my balls aren't small.

When I was a level 30 something druid, (I was a resto-balance hybrid for some reason) I dueled a 34 dwarf hunter with the worst spelling I've ever seen.
When I beat him, he bitched and moaned until I rematched him. I did, and won.
He then said "alrite fuk u dont get 2 heal tis time i get pots cool?" I say that's dumb, he swears and curses and follows me around for about five minutes. I then agree to his demands, and I beat him again. (This isn't me bragging about my skill, he was an idiot and had ridiculously outdated gear.)
He called me a cheater, whispered my Guild Master (who was my best friend, ironically) saying I should be kicked from the guild for "hakking wow."
I bumped into that guy when I was level 60. (Yes, this was pre-expansions.)
He was level 36. Months later.
Still thinks I cheated and still badmouths me to his and my guild.
A level 76 Nelf priest with level -43 gear.
