Borderlands is far better in many ways. Art Style Music Gameplay Voice Acting and Vehicles
Ending is shit.
Ending is shit.
which game?
which game?
Both games although borderlands had a shittier ending by far Wasn't even an ending
Borderlands, fallout 3 is shit it's literally the worst game ever put out by bethesda
Fallout 3. I played hundreds of hours before even touching mods.
Fallout 3 for all the awesome mods and the constant areas you always find (I find new shit all the time)
Eh... this is a tough call for me. I was disappointed with Fallout 3 - I expected it to have the replayability (and length) of Oblivion, but after 30 hours it ended and I had no inclination to play it ever again. But I did have a lot of fun during that one playthrough. Borderlands is repetitious as hell but it's a really solid shooter. I don't play it regularly but it's nice to drop in every now and then for a few gunfights.
Borderlands if you want a game to play when you're bored, Fallout 3 if you want a memorable game.
this is just what you think Fallout 3 the prequel to the original fallout t
It isn't a prequel, where did you get that idea?
Borderlands if you want a game to play when you're bored, Fallout 3 if you want a memorable game.
Fallout 3 is memorable for one reason. It was so goddamned bad that I'll never forget it. [editline]04:33AM[/editline]
It's about as non-repetitive as you are going to get. The map is massive and you end up discovering something new every time you play it. Even more so with DLC and mods.
Hardly, it's the same stale voice actor in the same stale block of wasteland copied a few hundred times. Honestly, I don't get how anyone can like that game. Morrowind was bethesda's last good game, buy that or Borderlands. Skip fallout 3.
this is just what you think Fallout 3 the prequel to the original fallout that is pretty awsome with a ridiculos amount of gore and replayability out the ass with a shit ton of expansions
Ahahahaha Get Brolands, Fallout 3 is meh.
Fallout, sure the story is stupid, it may not be that polished and I hate the engine but the gameplay is more interactive with its Karma, dialouge, and all the choices you could make to alter the gameplay.
Borderlands, fallout 3 is shit it's literally the worst game ever put out by bethesda
I don't think you're happy enough.
Borderlands was a great game, but Fallout 3 is alot more in-depth and probably about 3 times as long.
I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed with Borderlands. Started it up thinking "OH MY GOD THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT." I hadn't gotten to Sledge before I got a migrane and stopped playing. Fallout 3, on the other hand, I've loved since I got it. Two tips, though: ONE: Save, and save OFTEN. Don't put it all into one save, too. Though it's rare, things like going around a corner and suddenly you're near death and the person you had to help for a quest is dead is one of the most frustrating things that can happen. TWO: You MAY want to head over to the fallout wikia and read up on a quest before you try it. Reason I stopped playing was because I took too long to do a specific Side Quest on Mothership Zeta, and my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder just took over from there. Should've looked it up faster.
Fallout 3 for sure.. What are some awesome mods for fallout 3 btw?? I have MMM
Fallout 3 hands down easily Reason being? It's a decent enough game on its own but user made content can more than double the content and fun
Borderlands: • Co-op! • 87 bazillion guns! • The DLC:s (especially tSAoGK) • The ending at the DLC:s • And more! I don't like Fallout 3... I would go with Borderlands everytime!
I prefer borderlands, i prefer the vehicle combat of it. Plus I'm not a fan of games where you have to level up each skill individually.
Fallout 3 if you don't want an ending that pisses you off to extent of wanting to break the game in half if you have the CD or deleting from your system if you bought it on Steam
Fallout 3 does the exact same thing.
I don't think you're happy enough.
Wha? I just like good games is all. Morrowind was a good game, oblivion was mediocre, fallout 3 was terrible. Vote still stands for borderlands.
Fallout 3 hands down easily Reason being? It's a decent enough game on its own but user made content can more than double the content and fun
fallout 3's fun came from mods, the base game is just so fucking horrible that I can't recommend it.
Wha? I just like good games is all. Morrowind was a good game, oblivion was mediocre, fallout 3 was terrible.
I can teach you to be happy.
Borderlands, Fallout "3" was pretty meh. [editline]09:12AM[/editline] And if you want Fallout "3" then i'd suggest buying Oblivion instead, pretty much the same but fun. [editline]09:12AM[/editline]
I can teach you to be happy.
No need to do so. He's Right.
"3" ?
"3" ?
Well they call it Fallout 3 but really it has nothing with Fallout to do and it's absolutely not worth calling a sequel to one of the best WRPG's
I can teach you to be happy.
i don't get it?
Eh... this is a tough call for me. How can you compare the two? I think the only thing similar is the levelling system.
I would take Borderlands over Fallout 3 100/100 times. Fallout 3 is a bad shooter with a bad RPG overlay. Borderlands is an average shooter with a good RPG overlay. Both have shitty stories.
Good RPG overlay? The only quests that borderlands delivers is "kill this 100 times, collect 50 of these, go here, activate this and come back" FOR EVERY FUCKING QUEST. Oh if you didn't get it, the only RPG elements it has is quests that make you go from Point A to point B and back to Point A, a leveling system, and skill points.
I prefered Borderlands, for the co-op with my friends.
