town is way too bit, i suppose to go to this silver circet tavern from this message i received, also a queen gave me a quest to go find her sister that might gone insane at this place called Shedungent, and it takes 150 days to get there.
I wish there was a gold cheat code somewhere, even god mod like invisibility won't work (ctrl + F4).
I tried playing the first one, gave up when I couldn't see shit and died in every fight.
Too fucking archaic for me.
Rather just play Morrowind.
I can't stand that you have to stand still to attack and the fact that you get pitted against a physical damage immune imp that can kill you in a few hits right in the beginning.
What the fuck were they thinking?
I love the new feature of DOSbox that automatically sets CPU cycles to max, takes a lot of effort out of getting these games to work good.
I plan on getting very far in this game tonight, seeing as I have nothing else to do.

It's considered a challenge? You don't necessarily need to kill it, but it leaves behind some good treasure. Hint, if you can't use your sword on it, try your fists.
lol i killed one of my 8800gt's trying to play this

You don't have to stand still to attack...
Going to use the instructions from here, shorter and it tells you how to make daggerfall auto start.

i dont know v:v:v
Is there an easy way to attack in this game? I use the attack button and it takes forever for her to do anything.

Never mind, but how do i kill an imp without magic? I am a knight.

You hold down right click and then move the shit out of your mouse. At least that is what I do.
I think what I did to kill the green imp in the tutorial dungeon was stab it with my ebony dagger, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Someone else said you can just punch it.

You take out your wand and penetrate it.
*Requires skill Impish Language.
How do i heal? I keep dying/close to dying in the first dungeon.

You rest. Go to an area where there are no enemies, and press your "rest" button. Click "Rest until healed". Ta-da!
Or you create a completely custom character who has "Regenerate health - General" as an advantage.

THANK YOU! :D :p
Whenever I try to install the game using dos box it won't let me choose an installation path because it doesn't detect either of my hard drives. When I try to install it to the default path it says "not enough disk space" when I have like 18 gigs spare on that drive. How can I get it to detect my D drive instead of C?

Follow by every single letter.
tell me when they release one where the controls don't suck.
You do know you can reassign controls right?
Anyone else remember installing this game and having their jaw drop seeing the "huge" install option or whatever the biggest one was (It was like 200-500mb max or something)? That was one of the first big game installs of the time. Incidentally, it didn't actually improve load times enough to matter.
Damn skeleton always kills me
I followed it word by word, but I altered the path in the commands to where I install the game. Now C drive shows up but I want to install to D. Any suggestions?

Huh? I don't understand what your saying :s I did it no problem at all, using XP
I use XP too, (sp3)
Computers can have more then one drive, the first drive by default is C: I think. I want to install this game in my D: Drive.

You do realize that D: is your disk drive right?

You do realize that your disk drive isn't pre-assigned right? I meant that I have 2 Harddrives and only one shows

Just use C: for now the tut tells you to make C:\dosgames
I will.
to those who are interested into the music of daggerfall, I found this site.
http://www.rhmusic.net/dfmusicproject/music.html
they really do make nice remixes, however... there something different about the music here in daggerfall, it sounds different on Soundblaster 16 setting then MPU-401 setting. I like the sound of MPU-401 setting then the Soundblaster 16 setting, but I can't find the music for it.
I'm playing the game with out a shirt because I enjoy looking at tits every time I go into my inventory.
This is gold, I love Bethesda.

Morrowind is still the best in my opinion :/
