Fucking archery is impossible.
Too fucking archaic for me. Rather just play Morrowind. I can't stand that you have to stand still to attack and the fact that you get pitted against a physical damage immune imp that can kill you in a few hits right in the beginning. What the fuck were they thinking?
Back in the day games used to be challenging sonny. You're too used to having it easy. Way too easy.
Here is my character :D

Seriously it is fucking impossible, like, what the fuck. I shot all my arrows at this god damn imp and it didn't kill him. I take out an axe, one swing and he is dead. WHAT THE FUCK?!!
Wow, now that i left the first dungeon it's nice outside, I made two saves since i heard saves can get corrupted and quit for the night :)
No, that fucker was easy. It was a fucking orc that killed me. I slashed the shit out of this skelaton and it fell off a ledge, then I walk a little to the left to this corridor and there was an orc in it who was like RAWWR *slash* then I was dead.
I find the skeletons, hooded guys and the orcs way easier than the imps. One spell from the imps takes my health down to like 5%.

My mouse keeps going to cursor mode when it's in view mode. How do I fix this?
Thank you Bethesda for this wonderful game ! I wish I had a proper DOS machine to play this on rather than having to use DOSBox. Also the download is extremely slow from the official site, so here is some mirrors: http://www.fileplanet.com/202291/200000/fileinfo/Elder-Scrolls-II:-Daggerfall-(Full-Game) http://www.filefront.com/14005983/The-Elder-Scrolls-Daggerfall-Full-Free-Game
Back in the day games used to be challenging sonny. You're too used to having it easy. Way too easy.
Yeah, okay.
How do I attack citizens? I swing at him but he just stand there like "Wtf is she doing"
fuck it, I no longer like this game... too old, too difficult, no god mode or gold cheats... fuck this... morrowind and oblivion is just better then this...
fuck it, I no longer like this game... too old, too difficult, no god mode or gold cheats... fuck this... morrowind and oblivion is just better then this...
Lol fanboy, too difficult? Try a roguelike and you will love this game. Plus, who needs cheats when you have skill?
Who needs skill when you're playing an rpg?
Okay the fucking controls arent working right for me, I have mouse-look on, and I have attack and cast spell assigned to the two mouse buttons, but for some reason, it doesn't attack when I press the mouse button!!!! So, am I stuck with using shit controls or does someone have a fix?
Lol fanboy, too difficult? Try a roguelike and you will love this game. Plus, who needs cheats when you have skill?
Yeah it's too difficult, and i mostly use cheats on my game, there no such thing as skill... you don't have combo's here in this game. i just prefer morrowind and oblivion because of how easy both of them are, and the quests are more powerful then this game here. on the games that I play, storyline and gameplay comes first before graphics, as i don't got a state-of-the-art computers like some of yall people might have, i just perfer the story of the game, and just learn about it. unlike this game, i'm just completely lost with no good assistance.

Now how the hell do I fire my bow

Either way though, I can't kill shit with a bow.
I hit the attack button and nothing happens... How do you equip arrows ? Edit Yay I cleared out the first dungeon, it was not that hard you just have to save and rest a lot, also try move about while attacking. Also if your not getting many hits try move the mouse in different directions, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Combat Now I'm off to Daggerfall
I nearly forget how old games were so damn difficult. First dungeon sure was hell until I killed that Orc and grabbed all his stuff. Outside world is huge okay, but it's rather... boring. At least dungeons are fun to loot.

This is all very good, but I spent £30 on this game about 2 years ago in a little shop because it was so damned rare, then I barely played it because it was so very, very hard. I did the first dungeon, started the first quest then just couldn't be arsed finding the guy I had to give something or something. If I'd only known... Might try it again though, what with other people struggling.
Finally! After dying over and over and over again I got hold of an elven dagger (my best skill is short blade) and stabbed the shit out of everything. Now I'm actually out of the dungeon and doing quests! I still haven't used my bow and it's as hard to find specific places and people but I'm having fun. Is it possible to travel without fast travel? How long does it take? I started walking from Daggerfall to Yeoming Manor (or something) and gave up after like five minutes of walking across a featureless snowy plain. The game world is HUGE. Also, shopping is a pain in the ass but at least you don't have to haggle like in Oblivion.
Damnit, I followed the instructions in the installation guide, but it tells me I have the wrong CD inserted. I don't have a CD in my drive, so that can't be it. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

As I said, it's roughly the size of real world England.
Gah, this is annoying. My game randomly started running reeeaaally slowly in full-screen mode. If I run it in a window it's fine but then I can't use the mouse. Any ideas for a fix?
