It's a work in progress and the screenshot is old. I'm hoping to have it extend around the bay (can see it on the mini map) and link with my mates city some 200-300 blocks away up a mountain.
Sadly I haven't been able to get on the server, waiting for them to update. And no, I didn't use fly mod to build, just for screenshots.

It's basically a compacted replica of an older town I made, sandstone looks best if used for a small cramped town, in my opinion.
These all look nice, but I think I'd need half a bottle of adderall to make something that repetitive.

I would like to say this thread has hence inspired me to make epic towns now!
So far i would say that my towns are petty in comparison but I also dont like to spawn.. Me and a couple friends keep to no spawning of blocks. And so it makes it difficult to make towns in the sky when you have to go find all that dirt and coblestone. Very time consuming indeed.
Then again... This game has all the time in the world :p

Built it all solo so far, probably going to set up a server and work on it with another person or two. I pay more attention to adding detailed interiors than building more buildings.

This is the city I'm currently working on while my friends are off building other neat things. I have to say, this city is fucking huge. I plan to add in a system of aqueducts and lay a road that leads to other cities, along with a minecart track independent of the main road. The palace is pretty much done aside from a few rooms on the interior, and now I'm adding houses and details to the wealthy district.
When I finish the city I plan to add a few plugins to my server that will allow banking, trading, shopping, and a nice economic system. I'm hoping as people come to the server more cities and towns will popup to be connected to Bromingham.
