[sp]Oh shit forgot about that when he was a badass and rescues snake from the frogs and then he say's I am Lightning[/sp]
"It even Rained on the Day I was Born" Raiden's Life is so hard! [sp]Nanako gets Kidnapped in Persona 4 =([/sp]
As hard as game designers try to make them relatable I don't get attached to them at all. Is that abnormal?
Same here.
Aerith's death in Final Fantasy 7 was one of the most sad moments in video game history. Caught me off guard when I was a kid, I was quite sad after that.
I get attached to vital characters in games. [sp]Reznov during the entire W@W storyline, he is badass and always jokes and laughs, whats better than that? Chernov: Poor guy got a lot of shit, but I felt sad when he died Dad in Fallout 3, was upset to see him go, I didn't actually leave the project until I was almost dead from radioactivity, I was just stood there, staring at his body. The ending for MGS4, especially the fight, that was a very emotional sequance as they slowly worse each other out. The final cutscene was pretty damn tear jerking too.[/sp] There was more but I have completely forgotten them. [editline]Edited:[/editline] The lack of spoiler tags in this thread disturbs me.
I get attached to a lot of fictional characters... :aaa:
Rebels in HL2 and[sp] the two people near the beginning (Man and wife) who die at the hands of the metrocop. I always save the woman, but have never saved the man. [/sp]I keep them alive as long as I can but we get separated and on the way back for ammo/supplies I find there mangles corpses and feel sad. [sp]Ramona's death in Call of C'thuhlu always makes me sad, she was so full of life and nice to you a second before and then you find here wrecked corpse after you release her "mom".[/sp] [sp]Dad[/sp] dieing in Fallout 3 made me sad too, and wrecked that motherfucking [sp]Autumn[/sp] the next time I saw him. If you [sp]choose to syphon oil for the Valdez[/sp] in fallout 2, [sp]they come and brutally murder the guy who helped you.[/sp] Also, when you have a friend or two and you have to kill/pick and kill one of them I genuinely think of who I should kill and why.
also, Cole in Gears of War, if he gets downed [sp]"Momma.. always told me.. I'd never die.."[/sp]
When [sp]Ashley shot Wrex[/sp] in Mass Effect, I was PISSED.
[sp]I was glad she did, because I wanted him to die without me getting renegade points.[/sp]
[sp]I was glad she did, becuase I wanted him to die without me getting renegade points.[/sp]
you smooth criminal
I shotgunned that motherfucker
My first spore creature.
I want to play spore now. :frown:
You've obviously never met Harold.
Harold's a little bit of a different story. I could understand being attached to him, considering he was in Fallouts 1 and 2 as well. I never played Fallouts 1 or 2, so I wasn't attached, myself. So yes, Harold is a partial exception. There are a few other instances in the game where you can save people before they die, but they die a few seconds later anyway, because you weren't supposed to save them.[/sp]
Robert Neville's dog from I Am Legend..... King Kong and the black guy from the 2005 King Kong movie.....
I've never felt any sort of emotion like sadness when a video game character dies, although sometimes I might on a TV show or movie.

Burning him made me so sad :frown: And gokulol, you are one sick fuck.
I never played Fallout 1 or 2, and Harold is still my favorite character. Burning him made me so sad :frown: And gokulol, you are one sick fuck.
You burned him?! You heartless son of a bitch.
You burned him?! You heartless son of a bitch.
I reloaded immediately after. His bellows stil haunt me :tinfoil:
I reloaded immediately after. His bellows stil haunt me :tinfoil:
You're supposed to rip out his heart, not burn him. At least ripping out his heart is how he WANTS to die.
also, Cole in Gears of War, if he gets downed [sp]"Momma.. always told me.. I'd never die.."[/sp]
Oh man, that line always gets me. Also, the first dude you kill in Hitman: Blood Money. Swing King. Loses his wife and business because of a mistake only to have not-Snoop-Dog bust up his park and break his awards. He was the only one I felt bad about killing.
I always cry in brothers in arms games :( [editline]09:02PM[/editline]
Oh man, that line always gets me. Also, the first dude you kill in Hitman: Blood Money. Swing King. something weird is that I feel bad for lazlow in half-life 2 you know in sandtraps also whenever I make a connection on someone who died in fallout 3 I always feel weird
Bioshock: Whether or not to save or harvest Little Sisters. I harvested a couple of them and felt really bad at the end. The good ending made me tear up when I finally got it.
I kill all my allies that I can and feel no guilt whatsoever, am I normal?
I kill all my allies that I can and feel no guilt whatsoever, am I normal?
Nope. Infact I can just see you on the news one day.
thanks, I thought I was some kind of psycho or something.
also, I got pissed off and went on a mutant rampage when some super mutant killed Jericho in Fallout 3
also, I got pissed off and went on a mutant rampage when some super mutant killed Jericho in Fallout 3
I accidentally killed Jericho when I blew up megaton too early...
I accidentally killed Jericho when I blew up megaton too early...
I accidentally killed Dogmeat when I left him in Megaton when the nuke detonated.
In the first COD I always made sure Pvt. Elder survived. I get attached to my men in RTS games as well.
I remember when Private Elder died... I was like "I thought he was invincible and going to live forever! I was upset."
Solid Snake is the only fictional character I find interesting. He's a cool guy...
