This is quite the addictive game.

Too many cheaters, can't really get into it.

I don't exactly understand how the game is supposed to work, during the day when people are talking, you can say whatever you want and it doesn't prove anything until somebody is lynched or killed at night.

If you are sided with the town, then you want to try and get the mafia lynched. Mafia will try to lie and pose as a power role (cop, doctor, etc.) to stay alive and try to get other town members lynched. The game is based on logic, scum hunting, and lies. Edit: Generally though you don't want to be an ass townie and pose as a power role to get someone lynched. Also the game is quite laggy. The guy who owns the place is running it off his own server or something, so it tends to go down sometimes.

[/QUOTE] I've only been playing since last night and I've encountered at least a dozen cheaters where they usually know each other outside of the game and text/im each other who's who to win. This occurs in ranked matches the most for me.

If you know that these people are cheating make a thread about it on the forums and post a link to the game.

I can think of many other tactics, except to fake-claim, and when the CC comes up get obliterated either then or the next day.

Fake-claim works much better than scumslip most of the time, for me at least.

Alternatively: Claim that you want to be the mayor of town and ask for everyone to elect you.

I join in. Immediately people say I am a racist and to lynch me on day 1. I died a bloody death. Holy shit this seems so hard. I have no idea what to do, and the wiki doesn't seem to help. This game is so confusing

Yeah, real fun. Only thing is the insane cop. I was insane cop, and since it didn't say underneat the description that appears to be normal cop to self, I assumed I was normal. I got the other cops hung :saddowns:
