It's a beta, what do you expect? I mean, I'm as annoyed as anyone that I have to start Ansiotorpy over again but now that I've given her a defined style it won't be so bad, in fact my designs will probably be even better now that I know what I'm going for.
I already took pictures of every spot of my character so I can just redo it all the same.
Where's the fun in making it exactly the same?

Because I liked the way I made her look like so I want to have it for full release.
Eh, I'm probably going to re-design her clothes but I'll keep the face and body the same most likely. I might make another set of clothes to make her look like the original too v:v:v

Dashiel, if you are EU, tell me your server on release day so we can play together
Will do.
I preordered from Steam. Beta was fun, and the KTTC was great too.
But how do I do this... I got the key from Steam, do I have to make a new account with the key?
If you pre-ordered the key you received does not need to be redeemed at this time. Prior to the early access time we will make available a link where you can redeem your pre-order key. This will tie that key and all the pre-order items to your account.
That's what they told me on the subject.
So let me get this straight... Usually MMO characters have like stats and the better the stats the better the character. But you can't like "buff" or grind your character's stats rather the ability of the character is just based on the gun they have? (other than the player's fps shooting skills).
Everything else is eye candy right?

to put it vaguely, yes

For the most part. There are buffs you get (faster reload, faster stamina regen, etc) but nothing that makes a huge difference.

Alright, thanks.

The fuck @ your avatar..
Thanks guys
So will we all just join the world with the lowest number (eg. EU 01 or however they will sort it) if they do like in the KttC rather than names?
That seems like the most sensible idea, whatever is at the top of the list.
I just downloaded the EU beta.
I'm in the US, probably going crim. If any of you want to add me or something so we can be in the same server or whatever, contact me on steam.
I'll be going Crim too.

You're a bit late, it's over.
This game looks awesome.
So, all the EU people get into the same server. Then you post an announcement about the faction, etc and we play together!!

US crim here too
I'm gonna be playing enforcer on release, not criminal. Anyone else going enforcer on EU?
I've heard from several reliable sources that the reason for the strict NDA is that RealtimeWorld doesn't want the public to find out that the game is actually a piece of shit.
Any truth behind these accusations? And no, I'm not trolling.
It's not a piece of shit, despite what people keep saying. It's really not that bad.

The only reason for such an enforced NDA I can think of is that they really don't want people to know about the game, other than the PR bullshit they tell them.
I would be ready to pay for playtime to test it, if I could see some gameplay videos first. Because I don't like paying for stuff I don't know anything about.
The NDA was so no one during the closed beta could show media of the game.
I watched youtube vids of the gameplay O_O
I decided I'm rolling Criminal on the US region so add me if any of you guys want to :D
