I have a key for the EU beta I never used. Can I get into the June 10th event?
Woot just pre ordered the game on steam. Do we have to download the client on the RTW site or are they going to email us?

Actually it's the end key.
You're technically only paying $35 for the game since you get 50 hours and 50 hours = $15.

If you look at it that way, you're actually getting a worse deal.
Since for $45 you get 150 hours (by your figures), but you only get 50 hours for $50, you're the one getting robbed. You're not somehow only paying 35 for the game and not 50; you'll be paying 50 no matter how you slice it. You can't partially convert it, it's either one thing or the other. It'd be a deal if the game without any hours preloaded onto it only cost $35, but such a package doesn't exist.
It's horribly overpriced in the uk over steam. £35 on release god damn.
First off, it's no where near worth that much cash the way it currently is. It's too basic and simple to be worth that much. It's not as fresh compared to what most pc games are like yet it's just less than double the price.
And second, it's a fucking mmo. Selling your game at a price like that isn't going to get a huge community fast at all. It's the small buying price and first free month that invites the players. They're going to lose a pretty hefty player base with that move.
And finally. Punkbuster...In an mmo...
I'm on the fence to buy this because a friend and I can get into CoH together for 30$ and enjoy a whole month. If I buy this I will cut my friend out, lose more then 50$, and be taking a gamble. There's no trial and 50$ is goddamn highway robbery. I'd be comfortable paying 35$ and then subscribing for a month at 45$ instead of starting with their hour system and throwing in an extra 10$ if I do like it.
By CoH do you mean... City of Heroes? If so, by god, save your cash. You think this game is repetitive? Holy crap, you have no idea how shitty that game gets.

I actually like CoH. I have a level 50 account on it since like 2007. I just quit on and off.
I just got a pre-order email with my code for the keys to the city event. Pre-ordered with game.co.uk.

Why's their website slowest with that? You'd think it'd be the other way around.
I bought this from Steam where the feuck is my preorder key
Has anyone gotten their key to the city email?
I've gotten my mail, but where do I enter the code? :argh:
Nah, I don't buy monthly payment games.
It's thursday early morning for me and I still don't have my key (i preordered from steam!)
Doesn't really matter, we can't use them yet anyway.
You could always check the forums/site and be, I don't know, patient?

Realtime Worlds would like to announce that, due to a number of issues, we will be delaying the launch of the Key to the City event by 48 hours.
We’ve worked tirelessly to bring the service online, installing and configuring a massive amount of new hardware in our data-centres, to help meet the high demand and bring you the best experience we can. As we’re sure you’ll appreciate, this is a huge undertaking and unfortunately on this occasion, we’ve hit a number of installation delays.
As a result, the APB Key to the City event will now begin at:
9am (GMT) on Saturday 12th June
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience. We’re aware you’re all eager to get out onto the streets of San Paro and rest assured that we’re doing our best to bring everything online to give you the smoothest experience possible.
We’ll be placing official announcements when individual services are available, so make sure you check back with us periodically.
In the meantime, why not head over to the forums, where you can chat with the APB community, tell everyone what you’re most excited about and even ask questions to developers from RTW!
We look forward to seeing you all in San Paro soon.

I'm not to bothered with it, shit happens.
I'm not gonna lie, I am kind of bothered. The APB beta was all I had to look forward to today, and tommorow, being my free day, I was gonna play it, but I guess not.
I'm fucking bothered about it. This was what I was looking forward to...
I didn't even get my damn key.
