• Black Mesa Source V4 - 'Marines are OP' Edition

Just downloaded the mod finally and all the area names and parts of the menu start with #. I'm assuming this is something to do with language options. How can I fix this?

I hate using the Freight Tram, but I wish the chapter was longer.

Half-Life: Decay using the BD:S assets would be a nice remake in the future. I doubt most people would be interested in that.

With this update the furnace area is practically a slideshow, which doesn't make sense at all with just two marines vs two zombies.

It's such a ridiculous scene. You and the soldier are dead, the helicopter seems pretty close too and one other soldier decided it's a good idea to hang from an osprey. EDIT: Actually the osprey is close not the heli.

It's not like it has any real effect on what people think of the game, it's very obviously scripted to show things off in a cool way [t]http://images.wikia.com/half-life/en/images/1/11/Surface_tension_scripted.jpg[/t] It's not like people looked at the shot and think I WON'T PLAY THIS GAME BECAUSE SOLDIERS DON'T RAPPEL TO NOWHERE Also, am I alone in missing how the GoldSrc Hellfire missiles/RPG rockets had those white trails and flares? I loved those effects And has anybody reanimated the BMS crowbar yet?
I know it's a bit of a stretch, but [I]some[/I] of the bad music placement can be sorta fixed by adding silence at the beginning of the track. Like Lambda Core, for instance. Got a mod that changes the menu to be more like WON HL1, disabled the 3D backgrounds so it loads up faster, combined some of the WON button rollover sounds, and made the menu play ambient music to start up.
