I tweaked it's health to be more reasonable, and it is STILL nearly impossible to defeat if you opt not to use the Tau Cannon.
It reminds me of those PS1 era games where they always had one boss that would make you rip your hair out sometime deep into the game that you finally beat them and then you feel like you just resurrected Jesus fucking Christ from the dead.

It's funny because in Half-Life, you shot that thing down in 1-2 hits even on Hard mode. In Black Mesa, the damn thing takes like 4x more damage than the Abrams.

Does anyone else have trouble aiming the Gauss Cannon? I feel like it doesn't often hit what I aim at.
I can't even tell if it's hitscan or projectile.

You can shoot down apaches with the fucking .357 in HL1, just keep aiming for the main rotor's crankshaft when you get an opening, and it should drop in 3 clips.
You can snipe the pilot out of the cockpit in HL1 as well.

The only reason nobody's said "fuck" yet is because there hasn't really been a situation that called for it. Portal's humor is too intelligent to swear, the scientists in Half Life are all overly verbose old men, and everyone in Half Life 2 is either a cold-blooded transhuman killing machine, an alien, a smug snake, an oppressed everyman just trying to make ends meet, or is in the process of organizing a revolt that requires them to look like one of the above.

Not to mention Nick's sheer amount of cursing in L4D2. I guess Valve just strays specifically from the F-bomb, like it's the worst of them all - only Barney's ever actually said it in HL2, and the L4D survivors cut themselves off if they're about to say it, either by pain or trailing off their words. Normally i'd assume it's due to ratings, but the respective games are M anyway so it wouldn't matter much.
