I dont know about you but in opposing force black ops was sent to kill anyone which includes soldiers. They may not of been marked but canon they were.

Not entirely true. If you've got a guard buddy with you and you want to arm him with say, a shotgun, aim your crosshair at him (this is important) and then enter the following in console

He knew that. He was pointing out that in the original Half Life, the grunts and assassins were marked as friendly, and Opposing Force is often up to debate whether or not its canon

After I escaped the garbage compacter in "Apprehension", I managed to not pick up the crowbar, just to see how far I could get without it.

I tried making a video but I never can get it to work right.
I think its caused by the push trigger they put there (so you wouldn't take falldamage)

I wonder why vehicles are so weak in BMS, except the Apache, that thing Apache tears you up. I noticed that the LAV-25 does 1-3 damage per hit, which is [I]very[/I] weak, it's literally next to nothing. The Abrams I think did like 30 damage (I don't remember exactly 'cause I changed it awhile back). I changed them to 8-12 and 200 respectively, also increased the Abram's blast radius to like 10 meters. Oh the joys of editing the .cfg :v:

I didn't mean their health, health is fine imo. Their attacks are so incredibly weak though.
Compared to HL1 equivalent, or to HL2 mini-bosses (like Striders), they do piss poor damage. Hell the LAV does less damage than the Soldiers.

It's referred to as the Gauss Gun in HL1, it was only later referred to as the Tau Cannon in HL2. The names are synonymous.
