I want him to support linked version, I find unlinked version fun, but have it linked to the main campaign is the smartest thing in my opinion...
It's not 100% done, so he'll probably update linked one when he's done.

I found it harder because I can't just bunny hop over everything at 50 miles an hour.

Has Gabe made any sort of comment on Black Mesa? Did he play it/like it?
Has Gabe made any sort of comment on Black Mesa? Did he play it/like it?
Yes, he said he hasn't got any time to play it.
Ive done the beta map. Its very good and i didnt have much problems except for a few pink textures near the pipe area and having trouble getting into the pipe and the vent. Also i think it needs more health packs and ammo
I think in the original Half Life you could destroy the barricade in the cafetreia in Office Complex so that your guards can come through, but in BM it seems they are trapped in the cafeteria forever. Is there anyway of getting them out?

After exiting the freezer area through the vent, go through the door to your left back into the cafeteria and have them follow you back out. It's blocked like that because they couldn't really follow you through that area anyways.
Marines are OP
So, anyone find any kind of errors or inconsistency in Black Mesa? I remember performing a small glitch where a Sniper would kill a scientist running out to look at a fallen security guard, I thought I'd reload my save and rocket launch that sniper (I did.)
After that, I went up to the scientist, still looking at the fallen guard and only turning his head when interacted with. Is this a glitch, or was it an easter egg?

A bug. Black Mesa devs didn´t thought about griefing. You can stuck doors, breake scenes, crash the game...

You could mess with scripted events like this quite a lot in the original Half-Life, too, if you were quick enough.

Whacking the scientist at the beginning of "We've Got Hostiles!" to skip the chapter was my favorite.

My favorite bug.
I crack up every time.
That glitch will always be fucking hilarious in game.
I loved running up to the scientist about to get hit with the tentacle and saving his life in Half-Life.
I finally arrived at the Lambda Complex. Took me forever.

BM has another bug(exploit maybe) at the same elevator.

It's because it's apparently a physics object, or something like that.
LOL
"Well, do you have any idea what to do next?"
I still can't believe how much detail the BM team went into. The ambient conversation between scientists, and the sound files all redone. Better than most mods.
Worth the wait?

The lambda complex is a fucking lagfest beyond pump station 2. Took me DAYS to get through the level and finished off the game at a whopping seven frames a second.
Your computer must be shit then.
well; it is mips, probably just runs all his computing through an array of his old computers

Well, there is this one problem that if you die in areas with huge amount of effects and reload the engine shits itself and you get very poor FPS.
This has probably been answered, but whats happening with greenlight on this? Are they taking time integrating steamworks or are waiting until they finish up some bugs?

We've just assumed that they're finishing up Xen and the deathmatch mode.
Answerative pageking.
