I did all the assignments and sent Legion into the ducts. Made Thane and Jacob bio-barrier carriers. I guess the fault was just with my choices as to who should follow me. Also the crew didn't make it, all my regret.
Neither Thane or Jacob can successfully maintain the barrier. If you want the entire crew to live, save the reaper IFF mission until you finish every other mission. Then do Legion's loyalty mission, the crew will be kidnapped, and head straight through the relay. Everyone will live. Also, you have to pick the right person to lead the other fireteams too. For example, Legion can do the vents just fine, but if you don't pick a good leader, he will die anyways. I know for sure Garrus and Miranda can lead the fireteams, forget who else can.

It might be related though, I don't know. Someone'll know the answer

Someone'll know the answer
Exactly. They failed to hold the barrier at the end. With a character who can actually hold the barrier, at the end they do this hardcore explosion thing that gets rid of all the swarmers. You picked the wrong people so the swarmers got someone. If you're talking about Mordin dying at the door during the barrier part, then that means you chose him to lead the team, which was the wrong decision as well.

But nice to know. I wont restart the mission though, feels like cheating
Just unlocked Geth Trooper, at long last it is not I who is on the receiving end of a bloody flame thrower.

Someone'll know the answer
Samara/Morinth and Jack will prevent a teammate from being taken by the swarm. Jacob, Miranda, And Garrus should be fireteam leaders, and when sending the crewman back to the ship use any loyal squad member. Although Mordin is a good choice for that since he can die even if he wasn't chosen for anything.
holy geth juggernaut batman this class is hilariously fun

What, punch Kelly every time she tries to feed them?
I don't think I've posted this one here:
Okay silly question, but if one is romancing Liara, does MaleShep or FemShep have better dialogue with her?
Old but gold:
Always found it funny if Grunt dies at that part. Tiny little flies carrying off this Krogan at the speed of light.
I know you have to send Mordin back with the crew to ensure he'll live. But what if he's loyal and in your squad of two the whole time, will he die then?
I can't believe Engineer is so unpopular Overload + Incinerate for days
My theory is that most players see Soldier as the definitive Shepard class, also I'm pretty sure if you just rush through customization you come out the other side as a soldier. Speaking personally, I was never really able to see Shepard as an Adept or an Engineer, and by extension Sentinel. Again, personally, so I don't step on anyones toes, but it just seemed weird that he would be using an omni-tool or throwing biotics around instead of simply shooting things with guns. Vanguard and Infiltrator make a bit more sense, and Infiltrator is probably second most-played for this reason; seeing Shepard as an Infiltrator as opposed to a Soldier is pretty easy given he is supposed to be a type of special forces soldier anyway.
So i really didn't want to replay the whole game 3 times so i just did the last part three times. I don't know what the deal with Synthesis was, i thought it was ok. Mainly due to the fact that EDI was alive and it pretty much cured Jokers and all the quarians problems. Still a bit fucked up though. Does the extended cut add anything important?

It doesn't change the endings if you didn't like them but it does provide a lot more closure. And a fourth ending, refusal. It's a short ending and in my opinion the worst.
Wiki cleared up things for me again.
Wait, there's a way to get james vega killed?! how do I do this
Have low EMS and bring him with you on the beam run
Bad link...
I'll upload them in the morning then.
Does the citadel dlc even mention Tali and Garrus sexing each other up? Because I know Vega totally hits on Ash while Zaeed flirts with Samara
I know you have to send Mordin back with the crew to ensure he'll live. But what if he's loyal and in your squad of two the whole time, will he die then?
If he's in your squad he won't die.
Does the citadel dlc even mention Tali and Garrus sexing each other up? Because I know Vega totally hits on Ash while Zaeed flirts with Samara
Garrus is too busy making your house into a death trap and Tali is getting drunk, as usual.

It's a short ending and in my opinion the worst.
It provides zero closure. In fact, the extended cut DLC is an insult because of how poorly written it was. Essentially, everything is the same. You [sp]run to the beam while Harbinger is pissing laser beams at you[/sp]. And then suddenly, it takes joker 5 seconds to break the laws of physics and fly 2 - 3 miles to you after radio contact, which surprisingly with the ship arrives, Harbinger decides not to blow it up and take off. The kid still provides the same ambiguous dialogue and still provides the same ABC ending, except the only "closure" (as you mention it) is the background music and more poorly written conversations that attempts to replace clarification with more excuses for the sake of time. To answer jackattack's question, the extended cut DLC was supposed to clarify everything, but it failed to do so. It's like me taking a crap and handing it to you. All this DLC did was hand the same crap to you but on a fancier plate. Download it if you want to, but don't get your hopes up.
