All you guys talking about how great Overlord was is making me feel like I missed something when I played it. I breezed through it in about 2-3 hours on Insanity, and I think I did about everything that it had to offer[sp]except for the treasure hunt for the mission logs or something[/sp]. It kinda just felt... meh to be honest. It was about shooting Geth and having my ears raped every couple of minutes, with only a very minor change brought about in ME3 for completing the DLC. Is there something I missed that should have made it feel worthwhile? [editline]4th April 2013[/editline] But yeah, the first time that thing screeched at me, I had my Tritons on at full volume. I must've flung them across the room at Mach 2, considering how quickly I reacted.

I still don't like the screams of that thing. Even when I know it's coming it's still unnerving.

LOTSB is hideously overrated. Good, but not at all great. The best DLC of ME2, but not at all the best DLC ever.

Its a shame i couldn't invite Allers to the party so i could not invite her. But seriously, where was the option to invite Ken, or Gabby, or Adams? What about Conrad Verner Bioware?

Am I the only person who, after getting used to (and owning a model that is currently sitting beside me) the Normandy SR-2, is very uncomfortable with the fact that the SR-1 had such a short nose? It just looks wrong now.

Also, the guys who get to use them will almost definitely be veteran snipers. They're not gonna hand out experimental tech to a bunch of raw boots.

It just looks wrong now.[/QUOTE] It looks fine in-game to me. The models on the bioware store seem to suffer from something similar to the Garrus bust: cheap production methods and lack of effort.

I'm thinking of whipping up a Mas Effect music medley. Too bad the entire series has great music and it's fucking impossible to pick a handful of songs.

Someone's attempting to adapt the ME civs to Civilization V. Pretty sweet thus far, but some are pretty imbalanced. I met the Krogan and they have a navy of 32 triremes and this one port alone. Thirty fucking two. That would be pretty intimidating if the rest of the world wasn't pumping out destroyers and battleships. They're sending catapults and swordsmen against artillery and infantry and now the Asari and Turians are kicking their ass.

Also, turns out the Krogan had a navy of between 60-70 triremes. They're still getting their ass kicked though. Their science production was cut down to a fourth of normal production as part of their unique ability, now the creator's changed that to a third. Still seems hilariously low, but whatever. EDIT: Well that's what I fuckin' get for having the post reply window up for nearly an hour.
