Shit, I think I might have just re-romanced Liara again in ME3 after hopping on the Tali boat in 2. In the very beginning of the game, I said that I wasn't interested in Liara anymore, but on the Citadel, I don't know if I just confirmed that I want to be good friends again or if I wanted to Romance her again. After I picked the option, Shepard asked if Liara would settle down, but he at no point mentioned with him. I tested the other option (Let's keep it professional) and he just said "I don't really have time to chat anymore." I'm worried now because I quicksaved just before that and it's been an hour and a half of gameplay since that quicksave. I don't want to go all the way back and do that again.
But...Liara > Tali
So, the ME3 "Happy ending" mod... I'm not sure what I was expecting, but that wasn't it.
But...Liara > Tali
You did not. [sp] Jk opinions, don't need to start another waifu war[/sp]
But...Liara > Tali
It's all a matter of preference, really, and something tells me I'm probably gonna regret posting this. Liara's character development from an innocent little quirky scientist waifu to a ruthless know-it-all with a soft side is all over the place, which is shit, and then she hits matriarch stage early and starts smuggling watermelons, which, y'know, I'm okay with. Liara ignores you a lot during shadow broker gets jealous if you try and fill the hole she leaves by not being in the squad during at all me2. Then there's Tali. Tali really bugs me sometimes since they ruined the ambiguous suspense of her face, and often the devs tried too hard to make her adorable and vulnerable. But, as always, the perfect fallback as to why to romance her? That ass, those hips, etc. But, Tali, for half the game just isn't there. No, really. You're forced to take her on the first non-linear mission you get in me1, then she's an almost end-game squad-mate, twice. [sp]And let's not forget, she understandably shoots herself in front of you if the people she's trusted for most of her life (You, and the leaders of her people) get her ENTIRE RACE killed IN AN INSTANT.[/sp] But, in retrospect, they're both fundamentally the same character, just in different situations and of different races. Both of them are all vulnerable and emotional. Both have [sp]had their parents killed because their parents were too foolhardy to notice what they were doing was wrong, and they suffered because of it.[/sp] And, finally,[sp]Liara becomes the Shadow Broker overnight, Tali gets emergency admiralty.[/sp]Both of them get /really/ strong seats of power with almost no leading up to it which basically do -nothing- for them in the long-shot besides maybe one or two plot points. All in all, too long? Either 1. Man up and decide, bisexual tits OR over 20 lbs. of hips+ass. Or 2. Just fantasize about fucking them both or banging some half-quarian half-asari hotbabe. I don't care anymore, and I'll piss on your grave if you start another waifu war.
I like Tali because i like her. Not her ass or face but her. Not sure how to explain.
THIS IS TRUE POWER
I'm not entirely sure what I did, but my reputation bar is completely gone. Not empty. Just gone. Finally, my actions have no consequences!

Mein gott, playing a krogan warlord is so satisfying and fun.
I like Tali because i like her. Not her ass or face but her. Not sure how to explain.
Exactly how I feel about it. I like Liara and Tali because there's just something about them that I like, and Liara's romance in ME feels right, almost any way you slice it.
Mein gott, playing a krogan warlord is so satisfying and fun.
Spec out that biotic/electric hammer Throw on that tech armor Eat bullets like candy.
A lot of text
I read that in Javik's voice which made it even better.
So I just started Citadel and holy fuck [sp]when Wrex jumped out of the window on to the CAT6 shuttle[/sp] I nearly pissed myself laughing. It goes from you being pinned down to [sp]Wrex's fucking hilarious yell as he bursts out of the window.[/sp] He's so nonchalant about it, too. Just there, pinned down, when all of a sudden [sp]KROGAN[/sp] AIRDROP
Wait 'till you see who the villain is. Such a head trip.
Spec out that biotic/electric hammer Throw on that tech armor Eat bullets like candy.
You must be playing on silver
You must be playing on silver
Yeah, I kinda suck.

D'you think Wrex's second airdrop (Citadel dlc) was because he was running from Krogan females?
Beats Jame's rockets by a long shot. I feel sorry for anyone who killed Wrex, for many reasons. Also, my brother has told me that when he finishes the first game and moves on to ME2 he won't recruit Zaeed. He just doesn't want to apparently.
always angry.
Its part of his charm. Besides, you take him for the stories, not for the actual fighting.
Its part of his charm. Besides, you take him for the stories, not for the actual fighting.
That, and because the way he says "goddamn" is the most beautiful sound to ever assault your ear drums.
Zaeed is just one of the best characters IMO. He's kinda like Canderous in KOTOR, but with a far cooler voice.
Its part of his charm. Besides, you take him for the stories, not for the actual fighting.
By the time he got his Inferno Grenades, he was incredibly useful.
To be honest, Zaeed is a pretty one-dimensional character compared to the rest of your crew throughout the games. He starts out as a surly mercenary and ends as a surly mercenary. His loyalty mission is either satisfying his revenge or yelling at him. His dimension is awesome, with his guddamn fantastic exploits he'll tell you, but he stays that same way throughout Mass Effect 2 and 3. I prefer the character arcs that most of your other squad and shipmates have that give them depth and believability.
Is it strange I like the characters who don't want to ride Shepard's dick in an instant the most? In fact same is true with DA2. I hated literally all the cast except Aveline and Varric.

I hated literally all the cast except Aveline and Varric.
Everyone likes Varric. He is, after all, the narrator. Aveline was also awesome, because she was the team's 'straight-guy' to humour, particularly Isabella (I did get the name right, and its not something like Tinto? Been too long since I played it.)
Do people still play mass effect 3 online?

She had some genuinely interesting stuff to say even if she did sometimes feel like a living codex entry. Then in ME2 she was all like "SHEPARD I WAN FUK U I NEED U 2 FEEL MY SKIN MY DAD SUCKS FUCK ME" Then in ME3 she was all like "SHEPARD REMEMBER THAT TIEM WE FUKED WE SHUD DO THAT AGAIN I WANT A HOUSE FUK ME"
And then by Citadel DLC she starts acting like a goddamn Disney Princess.
And then by Citadel DLC she starts acting like a goddamn Disney Princess.
I still haven't invited her to the apartment. I heard its... cringeworthy to say the least.
