Ugh, instant-kill moves/grabs are my pet peeve in games, and this one is no exception. Fuck you, Scions.
It's not an issue nor a complaint but it seems a bit funny that no one in the Mass Effect universe ever mentions the striking physical similarity between Humans, Quarians, and Asari despite coming from planets light years away from each other. They all just go along with it like it's normal, lol.
Probably involves some hokey-poke to do with evolving via Reaper technology, like the mass relays. Maybe there's more subtle methods they used to guide our physical evolution as well.
Oh there probably is one universal omniscient God that created all life. Humans and Earth was just week three.
I went back and played through ME2 on Insanity, realized it's way more difficult than ME3 on the same difficulty. ME2 just has a lot of moments where it throws tons of bullshit at you in the worst possible areas, I still get ticked off sometimes despite having 400+ hours clocked into that game.

Of course the real reason is that it's just easier to design aliens that are similar to humans since you can share animations and the player can identify with them easier in terms of body language and facial expression.

A reaper that goes planet to planet killing shit is going to be collecting and spreading a lot of bacteria and other organisms around.
I recall Horizon and the abandoned Collector ship to be ball-shreddingly difficult.
Yep, abandoned Collector ship is easily the hardest part of the game, mostly because squadmates are fucktarded and you have to micromanage every step they make during that part. Those damn scions on the shifting platforms are bullshit. In fact, nearly every encounter with scions is bullshit in ME2 due to the horrible squadmate AI.
Scions were bullshit no matter how you looked at them. They were minibosses, since they had pretty high health, but sometimes they could hit you even in cover. I had an easier time with Praetorians than the damn scions. If you're an adept, good fucking luck
Probably involves some hokey-poke to do with evolving via Reaper technology, like the mass relays. Maybe there's more subtle methods they used to guide our physical evolution as well.
That wouldn't explain the eerily similar facial and body structures and not to mention their vocal structures (hint: untranslatable/dead Asari and Quarian vocabulary mentioned sometimes). My own take at this is perhaps Asari were genetically engineered by past advanced civilizations to be "perfect" humans, hence maybe why they live up to a millennium. Or perhaps these common humanoid species were pollenated by past space-faring civilizations; maybe not necessarily by the Protheans seeing how our evolution spanned much longer than their existence. My only logical evidence is you find out that Protheans were studying and experimenting on primates (Javik tells you this). But who knows?

If you're an adept, good fucking luck
I don't think I'd have as much a problem with scions if squadmates actually knew how to take cover when one fires. I can sit there and play peek-a-boo with a scion all day but those dipshits have a giant "FUCK YOU" shockwave rolling toward them and think it's a good idea to pop out and shoot. I micromanage squadmates so intensively I wouldn't mind if there was a way to tell them when to shoot as well as when to use powers. Like set it so they don't engage an enemy at all unless you specifically tell them to. Then maybe they'd actually stay behind cover and not get raped. I generally hate how aggressive/retarded squadmate AI is. I just want to sit back and pick everyone off from a decent distance, I either have to keep mashing the regroup button to keep them from running off or tell them where exactly to take cover, which they hardly ever listen to. It doesn't really make that big of a difference all the way through hardcore difficulty, but on insanity (especially in ME2) nearly every time things go to shit is because a squaddie did something retarded or completely ignored an order.
Are saves for ME3 stored on the cloud? My Hard drive failed and I want to know if I'll have to start again.
Are saves for ME3 stored on the cloud? My Hard drive failed and I want to know if I'll have to start again.
Yeah, origin has cloud backups.
I think I remember this wrong but don't asari use some pheromone or something that makes them appear to you more attractive?
Okay this is really stupid, but I realized after completing the game twice that I never bothered to activate the Cerberus Network on the PC version of ME2 v:v:v. So I activated it, now what? Does the DLC just automatically download or what?
You need to go to their website and download it, should be an option on the menu that takes you there.
Turns out I completely missed the part where I had to register my game. Thanks, man.
Couldn't [sp]save Wrex[/sp] in the first one, said I'd do the family armor assignment after this one mission. :( Oh well, you live and you learn.

Liara, don't stand up when the fucking Geth Sniper is charging his rifle. Garrus, stay the fuck in cover, dammit. I can't deal with this bullshit alone, guys. At least they learn how to go where you tell them to to some degree in ME2.

Tali died week later after catching a cold. That image made me remember quarians are officially humans with different skin color, chicken legs and three fingers. How I pity anyone who romanced her to see the picture.

Nothing is more disappointing in the ME games than missing out on something cool or having someone you like die because you don't have enough paragon/renegade points.
You know, I just remembered that, in a previous thread, there was a hilarious Shepard/Legion rule 34 fic someone posted. I wish I could find it again. :v:
I think I remember this wrong but don't asari use some pheromone or something that makes them appear to you more attractive?
There was a discussion on whether or not Asari look differently to other species. However that's kinda irrelevant because we've seen Asari Corpses, as well as Banshees, making it clear that they just look human.
But... she's so adorable. And a great drunk.
Tali is a collapse on floor say weird shit drunk. A great drunk is Zaeed + Garrus planting improvised explosives around a newly furnished apartment.
Tali is a collapse on floor say weird shit drunk. A great drunk is Zaeed + Garrus planting improvised explosives around a newly furnished apartment.
I'm pretty sure that's just them being Zaeed and Garrus.
Tali is a collapse on floor say weird shit drunk. A great drunk is Zaeed + Garrus planting improvised explosives around a newly furnished apartment.
I need to see this. But Zaeed is dead.
I'm pretty sure that's just them being Zaeed and Garrus.
Zaeed and Garrus combined with alcohol because Super Zaeed. By their powers combined, they become the one true kick back bro.
