I have very little DLC for the Mass Effects, just Bring Down the Sky before now, but I finally got my Cerberus Network working for ME2 and holy shit Zaeed is the best thing to happen since sliced medi-gel. Now I want to buy all of the DLC for ME2 and ME3 but I don't have any money. :c
I've actually started to take a liking towards Vega. I hate how they shoehorned him into the game out of nowhere but he says some pretty funny stuff during missions. It's also funny how nonchalant he is about turning enemies into flaming gibs, fire explosions everywhere and he just goes, "Yep."
That image made me remember quarians are officially humans with different skin color, chicken legs and three fingers. How I pity anyone who romanced her to see the picture.
I don't know why? Being a radically different looking alien might have been a turn off, honestly. I just think of her as my little space elf.

They did very well for him being in only one game. so much that I actually bothered to watch Paragon Lost, (yes i know the anime versions of krogans and shit like that sucked but the story was very interesting and appealing.)
Oh cool, Legion jacked me into the Matrix.
You know, I just remembered that, in a previous thread, there was a hilarious Shepard/Legion rule 34 fic someone posted. I wish I could find it again. :v:
Here http://www.hentai-foundry.com/stories/user/Et2bruttus/6588/Integrating-with-Shepard-Commander/15578/Chapter-1/Cooperation-Furthers-Mutual-Goals

I think that plays a part in developing a non-hatred for Vega as well, since it shows how tough the decision he made was. It's something I would do as renegade-shep so it made me respect him more. Kaidan will always be a massive pussy in my eyes though.
So I found out salarians had some quick evolution. I mean, they looked like this in the past. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/542955513248107444/DDFCDA3FB418563B6DDC120A260A9A0D8F151487/[/t] ... or it's a bug. And always put Wrex in your squad during the Citadel DLC.
Oh cool, Legion jacked me into the Matrix.
That part is so effing cool. Before that, I kept thinking "Why would anyone choose to wipe out the Quarians in their playthrough?".
Overlord's final act had that cool Matrix-y thing going on too. Both were great sequences.
Has anyone else had troubles using TexMod with the Steam version of Mass Effect 1? I'm trying to override the game's textures with custom high resolution ones. I renamed the original masseffect.exe to masseffectold.exe and then texmod.exe to masseffect.exe, launch the game through Steam, and when it brings up TexMod (masseffect.exe), I choose to launch through masseffectold.exe and choose my .tpf packs and press Run. The problem is that Steam says "Failed to start game (app is already running)".
Goddamn ME3 looks fucking great with texmod On that note, finally got the game thanks to simcity. Woo! I'm actually really enjoying it so far, just got done with talking around my ship for the first time. Feels actually kind of... nostalgic to be playing Riddick Shepard again (aka Vin Diesel who takes shit from NOBODY and is a hardass renegade, a fun playstyle to do might I add lol). It's also apparent just how weird it is that this is my only character I've done in the series and both wrex and tali are dead, probably the two most beloved characters in the series lol :v: I really aught to try doing a paragon playthrough with a fem shep (I hear her voice actor is way better). I just cringe at the thought of actually spending hundred+ hours doing similar/same things that I've already done this whole time except not being an ass. Especially since I don't find the actual combat gameplay areas of the series really that great (but they aren't bad, just passable), doubly true with ME1.

Oh god the feels are coming back...
Just started playing 3, anything I can do to make it look less gray and boring?
Just started playing 3, anything I can do to make it look less gray and boring?
The intro is visually bland but once you get to Mars it improves immensely. Other than that, you're pretty much left with using an ENB.
Christ, I knew the juggernaut was good, but I expected some challenge when I gave platinum a try.
hellllllyes opened a buncha packs lately, got the Demolisher and a coupla other okay stuff but then it happened I got the Claymore in MP and HOLY JESUS this thing is seriously great
The intro is visually bland but once you get to Mars it improves immensely. Other than that, you're pretty much left with using an ENB.
no one ever points this out, hah. i swear me3's graphics get better as the game progresses.
no one ever points this out, hah. i swear me3's graphics get better as the game progresses.
It looked like ASS at the start, especially on Earth when it's first attacked. Everyone has REALLY low-res textures.
no one ever points this out, hah. i swear me3's graphics get better as the game progresses.
I'd agree in most cases. Menae looks like ass save for the skyboxes which is kind of a shame, and the graphics go back downhill for the Priority: Earth mission (though holy hot damn that pre-rendered cinematic is nice). I think the game reaches its visual peak at Thessia and also hits it with Leviathan and Citadel.

I want to create my own sci-fi universe.
I like the graphics to ME3 just fine past Mars, but Jesus, those one-frame wiggling sprites on the Citadel just piss me off. At least when they used the same thing in ME2 they had more than one frame.
I want to create my own sci-fi universe.
What's holding you back?
What's holding you back?
I don't own a game or movie production company. I'll just draw concepts and stuff, but I dream of creating an explorable fully fleshed out AAA sci-fi universe. Not that I'll ever want to work in the video game industry in my life though.

We should have a FP fanfic contest. Tali-babies everywhere.
You own a pen and a couple pieces of paper, right?
I do, I draw all the time. But that's not what I mean.
