The reason that the OP pictures look shitty is because I tried to get screenshots of the Gamecube version because that is the version that I played. I'll add some pictures from the different versions. [editline]10:13AM[/editline]
I don't remember the game looking that shit. People love it because it is one of the only 3d GTA STyle games we will ever have on a nintendo system that is 3d aside from driver and scarface
This game was sooooo fucking fun! It was the first M game my parents bought for me (not to be confused with the first M game I played). I loved racing cars and doing slo-mo dives off of high cliffs and shit.I remember at one time I did so many "good cop" actions that my badge thingy count was at 99 (the max; doesn't go higher). There was so much to do in this game......it's a shame NY was fucked because of it's broken physics and controls...... Also, what the fuck is up with the Gamecube pics.....

Was this the one where you could learn rediculous driving stunts like flipping the car onto 2 wheels and go sideways? If I remember correctly, the last boss was a fucking ass fuck.
Oh fuck I loved this game so much me and my friend would stay up ALL NIGHT when we were 12 playing this on his Gamecube. he gave it to me and I fucking loved every minute of it. even though It had an assload of glitches I still loved it. This will always stay in my most memorable games list for life just because of the memories I had with my Childhood Best Friend which I have sadly lost contact with completely when I moved to England.... I just had the biggest Nostalgasm ever. [editline]04:59PM[/editline] I loved ramming into cars about 10 times and they would explode. haha oh the fun. I would get past the first driving mission (the very first one that you cant get out of) then just free roam fucking everywhere.
I played the shit out of this game. I've beaten it probably like 4 times. I remember my brother shitting himself when I won the fight with the last boss on my first try. Don't know why people found it so negative. For the sequel of the game I basically made it to top rank before doing the main mission. Then my game glitched on this one part where you have to push a guy, I couldn't fix it. Made me so mad.
I remember me and my friend used to play this in his house, there was one place we used to call "happytown" because everyone you frisked there had drugs.
I remember how bad this game was. But I'm glad I still have it on my shelf
Oh man, I used to love this game. "You've got the right to drown in your own pee" most memorable line from the game. And the cheat which turned you into a donkey was ace.

I loved this game, but the screenshots in the OP are scaring me. I don't remember the graphics being that bad.
I remember this game. I have the second one (True Crime: New York City, or something like that) I think it has a little bit better graphics. I remember a glitch I had in L.A. I was walking down the street and I passed this black dude, his eyes were like popping in and out of his head. When they popped out, they got like 5x their original size. Shit was creepy.
