Exactly, not needed. That's the whole god damn point. You answered it yourself. If it's not needed, then why bother? Then again I don't know jackshit about ICC, it's all frosty but I don't think frost resistance gear is an absolute requirement for any of the bosses. Sure it helps, but having DPS/Healing gear over Frost Resistance gear helps too, to down the boss faster.

If it's not needed, then most people don't really bother. You'll get through it anyway, sounds pretty much like Wotlk to me.

Pvp has got harder. Pve has got slightly easier.

If you've played it for a while (like me) you see that it's almost getting to easy. I'm not especially good at any classes, but the game's generally easier. Lowering level req. for mounts, more exp in lower levels, heirloom items. Honestly, it almost makes me cry. There is no challenge in the game anymore.

There is no challenge in the game anymore.[/QUOTE] I used to think like this, but seriously now, it just means that everything goes [i]faster[/i], you must know that now it's 80 levels to play through and most people would get bored if they hadn't speeded the xp rate. Whilst I agree that it kinda sucks for us who grinded our way to level 60 and spent lots of time to get the epic mount before expansions, it's still is a much better way for most people, and I guess we just have to get used to it. I still have the feeling blizzard knows what they're doing and surely will put up with something good in cataclysm.

Fucking Blizzard, trying to let everyone see the content they work hard on instead of being stuck in the old world for a long time. Idiots.

Wrath is the highest quality of the expansions. It's questionable in design. I personally felt that BC's art style and design, with the added polish of Wrath, would probably be the perfect incarnation of WoW. Maybe Cataclysm will attempt that, I'm hoping the elemental planes are as crazy as Outland. I love that place.

I just hope at least they make a dungeon where you HAVE to use a CC spell or two like they did in vinnella content with Cataclysm, i mean serioulsy ever since i started back up in WOTLK its like everyone forgot about abilities like polymorph, hex, hamstring, etc. in a heroic mode of course.

Yeah, I really hate how they made it so easy to down big bosses and get top gear. Takes away from people that are actually good and gives to those that are shitty. They do this to a lot of games. Gotta noob them down so everyone can have epic gear.
