Thanks for the help. Another question, why does my furnace and chest go sideways when I place it at the spot I want t it to, but it places towards me everywhere else.

Just place a block to the left. So if you want it to face you, place it against a wall and place a block to the right of it, like so. F = furnace or chest. B = block [B][B][B] [B][F]
