Yeh I can tell the future and read posts made after me.
Has problems with quadcores and no AA, and not really optimized for PC, performance wise.
I'm really disappointed with how bad it is ported. It's absolutely unacceptable when I get as few as 20FPS from time to time with a Q9550 and a HD5870.
Oh and no fucking AA. :argh:

stop whining, it's better on the consoles anyway. (been a pc gamer since I was six)

How is it better?
Bought after I got home, still sealed right now. Is it fun right from the start? No bullshit slow cars etc...?

AA, and the PS3 controller is much better than a keyboard or a wheel. This is all opinion, by the way, just saying so you don't think i'm one of those idiots who denounce PC as good simply because they personally don't like it.

fun straight from the start, but the crown vic is a bit sluggish with steering.

No version has AA as far as I know, they are all 3 pretty much identical.
The only reason console versions are "Better" is because they are built for a single hardware setup, and will of course play smoothly because of it. There are literally billions of hardware configs available for PCs that must be accounted for...
And the X360 controller is FARRRRR better than the Playstation controller. I've owned a PS1, PS2 and borrowed a friends 360 controller for this. Definately better ergonomics and more natural control layout...

Opinions, Personally I think the opposite.
Be a nice game, if it bloody launched for me.
All it does it blackscreen then closes.
so i finally got this game, and a little paper inside says ONLINE PASS.
i havent played it yet so i am freaked out.
can only one PSNID play online with one disk? or is it just with the limited edition (we got the limited edition) to unlock stuff?
It might just be the unlock codes for the 6 cars...

that is what i am hoping.
but it would be just like EA to do something stupid like this to ruin a super awesome looking game.
Why do you have multiple PSN IDs?
Why do you have multiple PSN IDs?
i dont. my dad, my little brother, and me share a PS3. we all love playing online, and hate sharing accounts.
plus its free, so why not?
oh wow multiplayer is perhaps one of the worst I've ever played, the 4v4 mode just feels broke overall and one sided. I'm really unsure what to say but every game I've played online just feels like it.
further playing edit: Just too easy for racers, It's like mario kart all over again except there isn't any blue shell, soon as one racer gets infront and cops are fighting with the others, game over.
My Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit experience:
Start the game. Unskippable logo screens. Par for the course these days I guess. Unskippable ad for Shift 2. What the hell? Oh well I figure it'll only happen once. Unskippable overly long movie teaching me about autolog when all they needed to say was "You can see other people's times!" More irritating unskippable cutscenes as it talks about how racers or cops go up in "levels" that ultimately mean nothing.
Finally actually manage to to start a race! With a cutscene. That I can skip, hooray, but "skipping" really means "loading" meaning the loading screen I just sat through was to load the pointless cutscene!
Now that I'm actually playing the game, I'm surprised at how hideously difficult it is to make adjustments while I'm driving in a straight line. So many times I'll smash into traffic because my car decides to swing back towards them after I point it away with a slight steering change.
Drifting is easy, although it feels weird for me. I keep forgetting I need to get back on the gas to make the drift begin. I'm not really complaining about this, I love playing Outrun 2 and it's basically the same thing there.
Finally I finish a race, and oh yay! I've unlocked a new car/level. Time for an unskippable cutscene telling me about it!
tl;dr: This game is Need for Boats: Unskippable Cutscene
Yeah, one of my chief annoyances with the game is that you click on Skip and it really doesn't skip...

And?
What the fuck is your point?
I'm really having fun with this game, but I can't shake this feeeling of it getting boring in a day or two. Because of this I want to return it and get Assasins creed brah hood but I'm wondering why I get this feeling, anyone having a similar experience?
And?
