No, mine has AA, haven't seen a single jaggy.
PC? Forced AA?
I CANNOT BELEIVE YOU EA! go off and advertise how awesome online is going to be, then make it so you have to buy more than one online code for playing with multiple accounts... :argh:
I'm really having fun with this game, but I can't shake this feeeling of it getting boring in a day or two. Because of this I want to return it and get Assasins creed brah hood but I'm wondering why I get this feeling, anyone having a similar experience?
I'm spacing it out. I've been playing the game nonstop for 2 and a half days...I'm at level 8 racer and level 14 cop. I'm taking today off for the simple reason that I do not want to burn myself out on it...
Is it pretty fun? And is there split-screen?
its fun to me... and it says in an IGN review that there is no splitscreen... that was the downfall (for me) of burnout paradise... i wonder why they made the same mistake again?

No more cars?" :\ [editline]19th November 2010[/editline] [img_thumb]http://cdn.hotpursuit.needforspeed.com/autolog/photo/aHR0cDovL25mcy5nb3MuZWEuY29tL2xvY2tlci9sb2NrZXIuanNwP2NtZD1nZXQmY2lkPTE0MDE1NyZ4aWQ9NTMwMjk5NDEmZ2FtZT1uZnMtMjAxMS1wczMmcGVycz0yNTE0Nzk4MzY=/photo/pic.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://cdn.hotpursuit.needforspeed.com/autolog/photo/aHR0cDovL25mcy5nb3MuZWEuY29tL2xvY2tlci9sb2NrZXIuanNwP2NtZD1nZXQmY2lkPTEzOTk0OCZ4aWQ9NTMwMjY2NTMmZ2FtZT1uZnMtMjAxMS1wczMmcGVycz0yNTE0Nzk4MzY=/photo/pic.jpg[/img_thumb] Lamborghini Revington is sexy. This game feels half-done. Controls are to mariokart-ish, and I expected a more detailed damage system..
So, final FP verdict: Yay or Nay?
Does anyone feel like this game isn't really all that good? I haven't tried multiplayer but... nothing about running from the cops or being the cop is satisfying. What's the fun with being able to fight off the cops with 1 cop chasing you at a time? I remember the original Hot Pursuits having shitloads of police officers chasing you and the other drivers and they were stuck on your ass throughout the whole race. The circuit tracks made that even more fun. Spike strips involved getting your tires blown = arrested/fined. They actually affected your driving. This game feels like you're stuck going in one direction and can't even be thrown off by PIT maneuvers and such. This game just feels like another unneeded free ride/open world game. Criterion Games needs to quit it with the open world/point A to point B races. It didn't work in Burnout Paradise and it doesn't work here either. They are much better when they create a multi-lap circuit closed track.
You can play online interceptor mode. That's where you have the whole map to escape a cop or take down a racer.
Why does it have to be online? I thought it was more fun to have a shitload of police AI on your ass at once.
Page 2? Not on my watch...
So, final FP verdict: Yay or Nay?
Absolutely yay. I might be biased because I liked Burnout and Hot Pursuit, but I've had more fun with those two types of games (and therefore, this one too) than any Forza or GT.
bought this yesterday, gonna have fun playing when I get home from work today
Damn the Veyron is hard to drive. Not only does it go much faster than all other cars (at least those you have tried before the Veyron's preview), but it's also always accelerating, and fast too (the other ones take a lot to get from 300 to 340, the Veyron does that like it's 0 to 50, even while going uphill).
How well is Veyron's cornering?
All the cars feel like a blancmange with my G25...
How well is Veyron's cornering?
Very good, it can nonchalantly take corners that other cars need to drift at the same speeds. Of course when you start reaching 400km/h it becomes difficult (you'll have to drift, and it's hard to drift properly at that speed).
actually this is a fun game, i was expecting another shitty open racing game with even more cutscenes but i was amused that this one is optimized and actually fun. but no AA kind of kills it.

My average FPS are <30. Crysis gets more than that with max settings and 4xAA.
Ridiculously amazing graphics.

Since it seems that it's either working perfectly well or barely running, maybe it's a specific series/drivers/something that the game doesn't agree with.
Finally arrived, installing now.

Err, it keeps crashing. Am I the only one getting this? I try to start the first campaign mission and it stops responding and crashes. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] This is bullshit.

It's definitely Criterion Games' fault. I get 40FPS average in the 64bit Crysis GPU benchmark with Very High DX10 settings and 4xAA at 1680x1050.
Thank fuck I got WWE instead of this
Thank fuck I got WWE instead of this
They still make WWE games?
Thank fuck I got WWE instead of this
Flaming a game in it's FP Megathread is a bad idea. Bad idea.
