That's why X-Box 360 [sp]sucks[/sp]. Woooo, flamewars begin!
olololol to be honest, as bad as it seems to pay for Xbox Live, it's not that bad if you pay yearly like I do almost don't even know it's payed for
why does it have to be so hilarioisly speedy game? you know. Anyways, i enjoyed hot pursuit 2 the most of need for speeds. Shift is second, though the players in multi are just ramming on the walls and other cars. But basically, this is just Criterion games allowed to use the Need For Speed name to get sales. Yeah, i have liked burnout too. but its just stupid to let Criterion games make a Need For Speed game. Need for speed series and Burnout series are completely different kind of games. Burnout is a lot more agressive game. need for speed is more precision. It feels like the next sonic game developed by Rockstar games.
It feels like the next sonic game developed by Rockstar games.
Now that would be interesting.
Wish they had AA.
Wish the game actually launched. Still found no fix for this.
Wish the game actually launched. Still found no fix for this.
Check if you are forcing AA on in your graphic card control panel.
is it just me or does it seem like all cars wreck the same way from what i've seen they just flip over with lots of sparks
is it just me or does it seem like all cars wreck the same way from what i've seen they just flip over with lots of sparks
Because that's totally not the right way how cars crash at high speed. What did you expect? Cars blown up and smashed in half? Doubt that any car manufacturer would allow this.
Because that's totally not the right way how cars crash at high speed. What did you expect? Cars blown up and smashed in half? Doubt that any car manufacturer would allow this.
Well look at how cars wreck in Burnout Paradise and look at how cars wreck in this game I guess my point is that seeing how it's developed by Criterion, who always did a good job with destruction, this game's damage system seems like a step back from their other games
Buy the game for the PC if you can since multiplayer is awesome. Cop AI is nice they try to ram you, use their techs all the time. The game's really hard overall which I find great since there wasn't much of those on the market last months.
Would I be able to run it? I don't care if I would be able to run it on the highest, just as long as it looks *kinda* pretty. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit Processor:Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 1636MB RAM I don't know any other information other than that. :v:
The CPU is fine, the RAM is a bit too little, but should run anyway, what makes it or breaks it is the GPU.
I'm not sure if this is the GPU (I'm a bit tech illiterate), but it might be NVIDIA Geforce 8600 GT. It's a pre-built, so if it sucks, that's why.

I finally played this yesterday. I must say, good job. The game feels SO much better then the last titles. Its really nice.
Probably if Black Box created this game, they will fuck it up.
Haha, APB cars were funny.
How will my PC run this? CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GGHz. Memory: 3,00 GB. GPU: Nvidia GT9800? D:
So basically, my dad loved the original NFS: Hot Pursuit and wants to know how much this game is like it and if it's any good.
So basically, my dad loved the original NFS: Hot Pursuit and wants to know how much this game is like it.
Doesn't feel the same man. :(

With better controls and graphics of course. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] Bonus: Took this guy out just before a road block, causing him to flip over it. Awesome stuff.
I need a racing game on my ps3. I'm stuck between this and GT5. Yes, I know they're both different types of racing, but which one you think will last me longer? And i was reading how this game doesn't have customization, so you can only upgrade you body kits and specs? no paintjobs.etc?
I hate it when the racer team is full of new people. I blow pass by them as cop and its really annoying to slow down.

Anyway it's up to you really, NFS is more of a silly fun game. GT5 is pretty much a simulator.
I need a racing game on my ps3. I'm stuck between this and GT5. Yes, I know they're both different types of racing, but which one you think will last me longer?
WELL if you want to have 1000 cars that all handle like a tank accelerating on ice by a jet propulsion system get GT5.

And don't you love it when you're a cop trying to EMP, you target your teamate instead?
Wow. I was going to mention that my dad was hoping for fun chases and cool crashes, but I think this picture speaks for itself.
That is indeed what you get. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
And don't you love it when you're a cop trying to EMP, you target your teamate instead?
You can re-target by getting closer to someone else.
WELL if you want to have 1000 cars that all handle like a tank accelerating on ice by a jet propulsion system get GT5.
What?
