The maps in Hot Pursuit are just like the ones from HP2. Windy roads, scenic settings, etc. McLaren F1 is also in this game.
Glad to see someone likes 1 of the younger games for once... Although Shift, Undercover and Carbon weren't anywhere near great.
Undercover is the worst.
Hot Pursuit 2 = best in the NFS series Most Wanted = second best
I played this at Eurogamer. It was fun. I played 8 player local cops vs robbers or whatever the gamemode is called and I got absolutely took out by some cop. I mean literally owned. My friend was station 08, i was 07 and the person who took me out was 06, to my left. I turned around to look and it was the fattest, most ugliest girl you have ever seen in your life. I ean seriously I thought Shrek had just walked in. After that I felt like killing myself after losing to the beast.
Criterion ftw.
I hate that most games nowadays, and possibly this one, don't support split-screen. Instead, they force you to buy two separate Xbox 360s, two separate games, and two separate XBL memberships. I mean seriously, we want to have fun with people who are less than 20 miles away from us, can you not let us do that?
Since when have police officers had such BADASS cars?
Criterion, Black 2 please thanks
2:03, last video, watch the yellow in the rear view mirror!
Hot Pursuit 2 = best in the NFS series Most Wanted = second best
You clearly havent played NFS Porsche
Should be good as long as kotick doesn't get his hands on it.
I love how this time it tells you that there are spike strips and road blocks. Speaking of HP, in HP2, I remember them always saying something like "Operation tow truck on roof, ETA, 20 minutes." But I never survived that long, does anyone know what happens?
2:03, last video, watch the yellow in the rear view mirror!
That was the foam decoy car.
Should be good as long as kotick doesn't get his hands on it.
How could he? It's published by EA, who are surprisingly the good guys in the industry now.
I love the Audi R8
it's going to be great on the team cops vs evaders
I think I will be a cop.
Why isn't the helicopter dropping explosives? God damnit.
Helicopters should still drop explosives, that was one of the best things about Hot Pursuit.
It's kind of stupid how they do the focus freeze frame whenever something by the police is deployed up ahead. That was the best thing about Hot Pursuit, just listening to police chatter, not breaking flow of gameplay, and being on high alert.

This thread is dead.
Hot Pursuit 2 was and still is my favourite racing game. If anyone but Criterion were making this I would be saying "They better not fuck it up".
Hot Pursuit 2 was and still is my favourite racing game. If anyone but Criterion were making this I would be saying "They better not fuck it up".
What are you saying since it is Criterion? That it will most definitely be awesome?
2:03, last video, watch the yellow in the rear view mirror!
fuck this shit I'm goin to space
I remember them always saying something like "Operation tow truck on roof, ETA, 20 minutes." I really damn hope Criterion lives up to the Hot Pursuit name. Knowing them, they probably are, though, so I don't have many worries.
I can't fucking wait for this game now.
What are you saying since it is Criterion? That it will most definitely be awesome?
Yes. The Burnout games are incredibly fun.
I like how you can crash the cops easier now, instead of just randomly slamming into walls and rocks. In HP2, the only fun way to crash cops was by ramming into their back when they first start chasing you.
Convertibles are speeders' best friend. Most of the cars have been announced leaving the last two. http://hotpursuit.needforspeed.com/game-info/cars And there's a new trailer.
I can't wait for this game, criterion makes the most intense racing games.
