It was like a ramp ~3.5 seconds of airtime.

Possibly stupid question, does this game have a behind the wheel view mode instead of behind the car?

The game by itself does not, but there is a mod that puts you in a camera behind the wheel, IIRC...

Ah I just found my copy of Hot Pursuit 2. I want to play it so badly but thanks to Sony being retarded and not allowing slim PS3s to play PS2 games I'm stuck with a childhood memory I can't even enjoy. :(

Thinking about picking this up at Kmart tomorrow when its on sale. Is it more like Need for Speed or more like Burnout?

Going to be great to play since I've played all need for speed games except shift.

Game is really fun, though PC multiplayer can be slow at some times with not getting someone in the match that quickly... The only thing that pisses me off is the time trials.. The first one with the Ashton Martin is a pain in the ass, I got 1:52 on it and I can't get down to 1:51 at all

Well, I havent played NFS since Underground 2, but this is not NFS handling. That new freeroam burnout felt exactly like the new Hot Pursuit, NFS never felt like that.

I hate rapid response. Hate it so hard. I just want gold medals for the trophy. Come on game, stop spawning trucks in front of me when I'm going 200+ mph.

my absolute opinion is that arcade driving games are fun. Such as HP2. BUT when you can make a corner in over 200mph... are you kidding me? DAMN YOU CRITERION :argh:

There are SP races.

Playing Hot Pursuit online is a blast. Trying to evade all four cops all by yourself is ridiculous, though.
