I've been playing for probably 5 hours or so as a cop. I honestly had low hopes for this game, but was pleasantly surprised. For anyone who does the Dr. Pepper/EA promo in the States, there are some car unlocks you can opt into with the code from your bottle caps. I may give out my surplus codes to folks once I have enough to make it worthwhile.

I heard that the Dr Pepper offer is exclusive for X360. I could be wrong though. Probably, I'll just wait for SCPD Rebel pack.

(1vs1) A few hours ago I played multiplayer in this for the first time on PC, and I was boosting away from my friend who was the cop. And suddenly, in a crossroad, a civilian car pops up from the left side, and I smash into it. :saddowns:

The A.I. in this game are dicks, the cops just ram you into walls, rocks, other cars, etc. until you die. I also didn't know that AI could use shortcuts, but one kept ramming into me in a shortcut, made me lose first place, and slam into a wall. In one race, I swear I ran into 5 roadblocks in about 1 mile.

I got it during the steam sale, I love it so much. I really hate how much of a dick people can be in multi player, twice I've encounter dicks how just go in circles in a shortcut until you give up, just playing for bounty. Very annoying. What are everyone's EA/autolog usernames, it would be cool do a race with a bunch of FPers with a teamspeak/vent server

Just to know, is this game beign properly supported by EA and Criterion (with DLC, patches 'n shit) ? I was considering it but then, after the criterion slap with Burnout Paradise...

Burnout Paradise was supported acceptably. The only neglect was the shutdown of the PC-Store. One thing i've noticed with this game is that it's just NFS3 with Burnout 3 slapped onto it. It doesn't even use anything from the latest in either series. IMO Paradise outshines this which is kind of sad.

Anyone bought the DLCs?

Pulling off a 1 kilometre drift in that spot in the forest is the most amazing shit ever.
